"Really enjoyed this stay - chilled and relaxed just as we'd wanted when we visited in the last week of May. We had a room with a sea view and terrace and loved being on the loungers relaxing in front of the beach. Comfy beds, good air con. Restaurant downstairs had good food options too. Breakfast was fairly basic but still nice to have included. A short walk from the 'town centre' but steps from the beach."

"This property is truly a gem in a fabulous locale. I chose this home based on the criteria of having an equal number of bedrooms to bathrooms, a pool with a gorgeous view, and a washer & dryer (not common in Europe as a whole). We were so lucky in finding it that we found La Herradura/Almunecar and the amazing people of the area. We hosted friends and family to celebrate my 60th birthday month, and it was truly the trip of a lifetime to date. The home is not luxurious by USA standards, but it is for the area, with beautiful wood trim work, a very functional kitchen, a gorgeous pool that is kept very clean (we only skimmed bugs and leaves from time to time, as a gardener handled the rest) and views that simply cannot be described. It is completely private from neighbors, with only a bit of daytime noise coming from other homes with pools nearby and the noises of games being played at a racket club below the property. There are a few challenges with the home not coming with any instructions (Wi-Fi, extra linens, trash handling, etc.), but the host was very easy to reach in the messaging feature of VRBOs app. The family who owns the main bakery in town owns this home (found that fact here posted by another), and you won't want to miss enjoying their pastries and breads. If we ever repeat a stay in this area, we will definitely book this home!"

"Wunderschönes Haus, tolle Lage, ausgestattet mit allem was man braucht. Die modernisierten Bäder haben uns gefallen, der Pool war großartig. Schade dass der „kleine Pool“ im unteren Bereich leer war, wirklich gebraucht haben wir ihn aber nicht. Einziges „Luxusproblem“: Man braucht schon ein Auto, der Ort selber ist nicht so spektakulär. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!"

"We love this hotel! This was our third time at Arrayanes Playa Hotel. The location and beach view is perfect. Being on the edge of town gives greater choices for the beach and is just outside of the paid parking zone. We even played ping pong in the recreation room. The staff is friendly and very helpful."
