Lakeside House #307 at Valcour Cottages

Valcour Cottages in Plattsburgh, NY. Two Bedroom house located on the shores of Lake Champlain in Plattsburgh, NY. Views of Valcour Island and the Bluff Point Lighthouse can be seen from our large, shared backyard. House has back deck attached with access from inside sliding door. Two shared firepits and a grilling area is yours to enjoy (Free firewood provided). There are two Queen beds, as well as a fold down futon in the living room if additional sleeping space is needed. There are 7 total units at our vacation rental property, with the house being the main centerpiece. The back yard is spacious and there is lots of room for all to enjoy! The property overlooks the Valcour Island Marina, and the Peru Dock State Boat launch is a 15 second drive to the south. Ten minutes to downtown Plattsburgh and only miles away from Local state parks, beaches, hikes, breweries, restaurants, kayaking, and more. Call or visit our website for any questions!

Perfect Lake vacation

Valcour Cottages was the perfect escape for a lake house vacation! The house was clean, perfect view of Lake Champlain, and provided wood for fire pits at night. We were able to use the tubes we brought to swim on a calm water day (there are steep steps to the water, but also a couple close beaches) The Cottages are near some gorgeous hikes! We hiked to the top of Rattlesnake Mountain and cliff jumped at Flumes Falls. Adirondack River Rental made Kayaking perfect along Ausable River! The host Greg was super friendly and responsive! We hope to visit again!

View was amazing & the space was great!There were A LOT of spider webs & some spiders, inside. It's so easy to clean those up & spray for them, so could be a simple fix. If not for that, I would have given it 5 stars.

Beau grand cottage sur le bord du lac Champlain avec une belle grande terrasse. La propreté laisse à désirer, il y avait beaucoup de fils d’araignées et d’araignées dans le salon, les chambres et la salle de bain. La peinture du couvert du BBQ tombe sur les aliments pendant la cuisson. Il n’y a pas de grille-pain dans la cuisine.
