Another Fairfield I would stay in again.

Fairfield Inn in Lakeland continues my experience of a high-quality stay. The staff is friendly, the breakfast offerings are varied and plentiful, there is a guest laundry on site with laundry soap available for purchase. I also appreciated that this facility did *not* have a per-day parking charge.

I recently stayed at the Marriott Lakeland Plant City for a business trip and had a good overall experience. The location was very convenient, with a Dunkin' right next door and easy access to nearby areas, which made my mornings and travel much easier. I appreciated the noon checkout time, allowing for a more relaxed departure, and the pool area was a nice bonus for unwinding after work. The front desk staff was friendly and welcoming, contributing to a positive first impression. While the stay didn’t necessarily exceed expectations, it was comfortable and reliable, and I would recommend this hotel to others looking for a solid, hassle-free option for business travel.

The property was close to the Plant City Strawberry Festival which is a big event for the community. The hotel offered courtesy service to the Festival for registered guests: a big plus. Also, the breakfast offered a variety of food. Very pleased with our stay.

The staff was very pleasant. I was taken aback when they tacked an "incidentals" charge on my stay. $80.00 in the event I took something from the snack area without paying or if I caused damages and slipped out before they were found. This charge came as a surprise since it is not disclosed prior to booking or checking in. I was told it would take several days to be reimbursed to my banking account. Not happy at all about this. When I discussed my concerns with the front desk staff, they were very sweet and apologized, but had no control over the situation. This hotel is undergoing renovations. Mattresses were stacked against the wall in the lobby. I had a concern when the outlet in the room did not work and this was rectified within minutes. Their staff is the redeeming feature at this hotel!!!!

Close to I-4 but not too close. Great place to stop and take a break from the I-4 traffic. Close to both Tampa and Orlando. Nice clean rooms and the grandkids loved the pool. Several chain restaurants on either side of the property (Wendy’s and Dunkin’ Donuts). Overall a great place to stay.
