"Clean house and very spacious. Easy access to the river. There were bald eagles and river otters, but we did learn the river was closed to fishing. We did head up to Fish Lake to do some sock fishing. Overall a wonderful stay with grwat communication."

"If you're looking for a peaceful getaway, The Trout Shack is the place to stay. This cozy cabin sits right on the river, offering a serene setting that feels like a true retreat. The sound of the flowing water, the fresh air, and the quiet surroundings made it easy to unwind.We especially loved soaking in the hot tub facing the river—absolutely perfect after a day of exploring. The outdoor day bed was another highlight, ideal for relaxing and taking in the view. To top it all off, two deer wandered through the yard, making our stay feel even more connected to nature.Though it feels tucked away, the cabin is just a short drive from Leavenworth, so we were able to enjoy all the restaurants, shops, and charm the town has to offer, then return to the calm of the riverfront.Highly recommend this special spot—we’ll definitely be back!"

"What a fantastic property! If I could give it more stars, I would. The cabin was immaculate and so well taken care of. Kitchen was perfectly stocked for all of our needs. We cooked and BBQ'd all of our meals. We absolutely loved our stay here - especially being on the river. You can tell that the owners care about the property."
