It was generally served by the most friendly and considerate proprietor who spoke good English and made time to advise us on places to visit etc. The swimming pool and spacious garden were excellent for quiet relaxation and the sun-shading parking gazebo kept the car relatively cool."

"This old property in the heart of the bastide of Saint-Foy-La-Grande is an ideal base for exploring the Dordogne Region. The host, Rysha, communicated excellently with me. Not only did she provide the necessary information about the property, but she also sent us a wealth of information about the village, the surrounding area, places to visit, things to do, local restaurants and local events. The bathroom and kitchen have everything you could need for the stay, and they even left some starter items in the fridge including a bottle of wine. The beds are large and comfortable, and there is a barbecue in the secluded garden."
