"The Inn was a great place to stay! When we checked in they automatically upgraded our room to a suite since there was one available. That was an unexpected and greatly appreciated perk!! They offered a complimentary breakfast which was good. My husband and I chose the Inn because of how close it is to the beach and its proximity to downtown Venice. We could walk to the historic district. We would definitely come back."

"Check out time is at 11 am sharp. I had hurt my back that morning and was moving slow. It took me 15mins to 20mins more time to get out of the room. They asked me every 5mins. I am a 69 year old woman who had rods and screws put in back in the last 6 months. I needed some grace. Not being nagged at when I would be gone. Yes I did tell them I was packing up and would be gone shortly in a polite manner."

South Seas

"We stayed in the marina villa in a renovated room which was very nice. Everything worked well including the AC! There are great additions to South Seas like the new waterpark and the BEACH House restaurant. There is still active construction where the hotel was before the hurricane. All of the staff was great EXCEPT ONE VERY NASTY TROLLEY DRIVER who was upset because we were parking our bicycles in the shade because of the 100 degrees hitting our seats. The bikes were not in anybody's way, but I guess he thought he was the bicycle police. Anyway, we will return. Great job South Seas on the renovation!"
