Placencia Stay

Our stay was comfortable, with a good distance of walking to Lobster fest. Our room was pretty clean, provided all the amenities mentioned, and even soap and towels. There were some leftover, used things of soap that were still in the shower area from visitors past. It was hard to find our place at first, and even as I was sitting in my hammock one of the days, some visitors had to ask me to help them find their building. But overall, once we got settled it was a great spot to stay at.

Too Noisy To Get Any Sleep

Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this VRBO. While the property itself was okay, despite a few cleanliness issues; the noise level prevented me from getting much sleep. There was a loud party next door that ran until well after midnight, combined with the fact that the property is right next to the road with motorcycles and other vehicles going by all night it made for an unenjoyable stay.

From what we were told we were the 1st people to stay in this house since the pandemic shut down Belize. That being said a lot of issues needed to be fixed such as the legs on the futon, the top on the table, the hot water heater, the sheets, and the fridge cleanliness. The area is fairly quiet, extremely central to downtown, and the neighbours were lovely. I am joyed Placencia a lot. If these problems could get taken care of I would highly recommend this house. People were responsive to our calls when we needed help with these problems but everything was not completely fixed by the time we left. I am sure that they will get fixed soon though.

Clean, spacious, comfortable

For being on the main street it was fairly quiet. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, refrigerator, oven, coffee maker and toaster. As well as little things like soap and cooking oil.The Wi-Fi worked well the bed was comfortable and the place was overall clean and cozy. There were some items not in repair like the fan (super important here!) also some items weren't well stocked. Only one bath towel and one roll of toilet paper for 10 day stay. The owners were very nice and accommodating. Even helped babysit for me so I could have a few minutes to myself! Over all I was happy with my stay and would recommend it to anyone that likes to do there own cooking while traveling.
