This is one of the best stays I have had of all time! The house has the perfect layout, top quality finishes throughout the property, and super clean/well manicured. The location is close to lots of great restaurants and things to do in Maya Beach as well a a quick golf cart ride to Placencia. The cherry on top to this resort is their incredible staff. From the friendly maintenance staff to the fun bartenders to the awesome owner. We were safe, well cared for and genuinely made to feel so at home. Would highly, highly recommend!

From start to finish - our stay was A+. The grounds are gorgeous and well maintained. The staff is friendly and so helpful. The pool and beach were awesome. Our cabana was beautiful and steps from the beach, shaded by coconut palm trees. We would 100% recommend!

Our room was nice, simple and clean. The bathroom door wouldn’t close completely, so it kept opening when we tried to closed it. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially the concierge. The bar and pool was nice. The beach sand was nice, but the water was a little polluted. There's not much amenities there. The resort didn’t have activities for guest to do.

The resort was absolutely fantastic! Small and intimate, very clean and well maintained. The food was fantastic and we never felt crowded. Our bungalow #1 was right on the beach- walk out your front door and you are on the sand. The front desk helped us book a massage right on the beach in front of our bungalow and it was amazing. A few gentlemen were outside every morning taking the beach and straightening up the chairs for our enjoyment. This was a very well kept beach compared to resorts surrounding us. The bar and restaurant staff would deliver food and drinks right to our bungalow without asking- my husband and I would put the kids to sleep at night and enjoy drinks on our front porch watching the waves. Could not have asked for a better vacation!

We immensely enjoyed our stay at this resort. The highlights included all of the staff, including Dixie, Val, John, and the wonderful front desk (I’m sorry, I forgot her name). Even the intern at the bar was friendly and helpful. It is because of these people that we love Belize and your resort. The beach is beautiful, walkable to many different restaurants.

We had an amazing time at Ceiba Beach Resort! It was quiet, clean, and all of the staff was extremely helpful and genuinely interested in making your stay as enjoyable as possible. Everything was great! Area about 30 minute drive from the village of Placencia. By the hotel, about 8 restaurants less than a mile walk. Easy parking at the hotel. Super clean, nice swim up bar in the pool. Excellent help from staff. Highly recommend.

Like any first time visitors, we researched and questioned every detail about our trip to Belize. We finally happened upon and settled on booking with Ceiba. WHAT A BLESSING! They UNDERSTAND customer service! Everyone there made us feel welcome. Efi went above and beyond with scheduling, John was the most outgoing bartender, the property was meticulous. Ceiba is a new resort with cook that is out of this word. The food is unbelievable, presentation service taste 10 Our room had a 3 loaded diapers i garbage, door to room were not sealed enough to cover the street traffic noise. Resort doesn’t offer kayaks or bikes that we were looking forward to use. I would come back again, I am sure that above points are easily taking care off. Staff is 10. Location 10

Perfect stay for young, adventurous travelers

I really loved my stay at Ceiba. This is a small, friendly, cute resort that meets all the needs of a traveler looking for a calm and restorative stay while they're adventuring in Belize. My partner and I stayed here for our 10-day Valentine's trip and it was everything we could have asked for. The highlights were the incredibly friendly and helpful staff, the AMAZING food, and the clean grounds. From the poolside bathrooms to the parking area, everything was clean and orderly. Some of the meals were the best I've ever had abroad (including Paris, Bangkok, and Madrid). Michael, our bartender most nights, was so kind and sweet! I count him as a vacation friend! Pros: new and very very clean; smart TVs in the room; wonderful beach with calm shallow waters; nice pool with a shaded swim up bar; mini-kitchen in the condo for making small meals and heating up leftovers; great A/C to beat the heat; excellent food on-site and at Sirenian; free perks at the Sirenian sister resort like mini-golf and pickle ball and a gym (w/ free shuttle). Cons (small things that some people might not like, but didn't impact my trip at all): no in-room phone, no iron or hair dryer, basic bed linens (not high thread count or pillow top), small menu.

Small footprint, but does a lot with a little. A handful of cabanas along a beautifully maintained stretch of beach are arranged around an open-air main house with restaurant, pool, and bar with both swim-up and ocean-view seating. We stayed in one of the condo apartments backing up to the main road (we do wish we would have known). They're on the small side even for couples - very basic kitchenette with few cabinets, a "queen" that's really a full size bed, no seating area inside other than a couple of counter stools (though the balcony's spacious with chairs and looks out on lush, quiet walkways to the beach). There is a lack of clothing & towel hooks - given that visitors are spending their days beachside, poolside or on wet daytrips. They need more. Linens could've been nicer too, but you need to factor for the still-young tourist industry and its limited resources; cleaning is only available on request, plumbing is septic, and we had to ask someone to come turn on the hot water. That said, the staff couldn't have been nicer, and Ceiba guests benefit from a partnership with Sirenian Bay resort down the road -- you can shuttle there for minigolf, gym access, pickleball and another pool & beachfront (though we preferred Ceiba). Maya Beach doesn't have a lot of amenities compared to the village -- you'll need to get a car, golfcart or taxi for best variety of groceries / dining options (though the amazing Maya Beach Bistro is a very short walk!) -- but we liked the quiet!
