"Absolute best location! Literally a one minute walk to the tram hub and opera house. Very quiet hotel which suited us just fine for this trip. Our room was huge with three large windows which opened to allow air flow. The hotel was very clean. One thing that we did not like was you could not get a coffee from the machine during the breakfast hours unless you were eating breakfast (and yes, they had coffee in your room but no milk) not the end of the world but kind of silly really. Overall I would recommend this hotel to my family and friends. "

"Ideally situated, quiet, and longstanding hotel. For a first visit to Bordeaux, We chose this hotel for what we thought would be a central location—absolutely so! And the tourist office is across the street. We also chose it because it’s been run by the same family for years, so non cookie-cutter. Great choice! Very professional staff—welcoming and helpful. We asked for a restaurant recommendation and the 1925 was first-rate. Rooms are cared for, quiet, and fully-equipped. The breakfast was copious and varied. We are a retired couple who travel regularly. This hotel was an excellent choice and value. "
