"The staff was excellent—very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Unfortunately, the room itself felt quite run down. Not all the garbage was emptied, and some surfaces didn’t appear to be fully cleaned. The cabinet around the mini fridge was damaged, and the mattress seemed like it could use replacing. Breakfast is served in the restaurant, but many of the chairs there were peeling and in need of repair. Overall, the service was great, but the property could really benefit from some updates and more thorough cleaning."

"The location of this hotel is fantastic, but there are many hotels in the area. We paid extra to enjoy the luxury of this hotel and did not receive the best service. The coffee pods in our room were not replaced nor was the water. One occasion as we passed by our room the housekeeper asked us to unlock it for her as her key didn’t work. I’m unsure how she was going to get in there if we hadn’t passed…. When we pointed out that we had not received exemplary service, we received two coupons for a free glass of house wine. Some of the furnishings are a bit worn and the food at the terrace room restaurant was lacklustre. The wine they served me was old and had to be taken away.The speakeasy was fun but quite highly priced. Service in the coffee shop was friendly and attentive. In regards to price point, I do not feel that it was worth the extra investment. "
