"This was a reunion of 2 life long friends that had drifted apart . It was HOT! I know it's not cool in the summer in Texas, but this was crazy heat! Heat index was 109-112. So this place did work great in our favor since we were mainly inside. Played a many a games of pool. "As you drive up the county roads you’re thinking “omgosh what did we get ourselves into”? And the. You make the turn into the winery and see all the vines and trees and the beautiful winery and then the Bluejay Cabin and all in the world is good again. Seriously we will be back. Cute, quaint and adorable little place. By the way, the wine is pretty good too…oh, then there’s the restaurant at the winery…triple star food!!! And the host made us feel like family. Again, a must stay!"

"This was our Hooks High School 50 year reunion girlfriends get together. We loved our stay. The home was comfortable and well- equipped with amenities. It was just right for a bunch of old ladies to sit around and catch up and share some meals. Had we WANTED to be adventurous, we would have really enjoyed playing in the lake; however ,the beautiful lakefront Property with sunset views fit us just right!"
