Casa Incantata is an old house, typical for the area. We have restored it in a respectful way so it has kept its character. Beautiful views against the Ionian sea og great surondings with olive trees. In the countryside. The location is airy and calm. The bedrooms are scattered around in tree different houses. In the main house, with a sofa bed, in the old garage and a converted henhouse. All bedrooms have a little bathroom and toilet. In the garage and the henhouse there are just fens and not aircondition

Perfect little paradise
Fantstic house in the gorgeous Caporotono area close to Pisticci, 25 minutes from the beach. The accomodation exists of a main house (kitchen, living room, master bedroom) and two smaller units (both double bedrooms with their own entrance and private bathroom). Two outside showers and a lovely garden with a large covered terrace. The whole accomodation is beautifully designed throughout, the kitchen is fully equipped with all basics (oil, vinegar, salt, etc) provided. It's close to the main road (from Pisticci to the motorway/beach) but still we felt totally secluded in our private little paradise. Excellent check in by local Mariagrazia (who was on hand for questions and trouble shooting). All in all a perfect house in a great location, we couldn't have wanted more, we were completely happy there, sorry we had to leave, hoping we will one day come back.

A getaway in the truest sense of the word
A bunch of friends took this for a quiet week away from it all so we could hang out after not seeing each other for 3 years. It was, indeed, “away”. In the best way. Fantastic old farmhouse with lots of wood and stone; that may not be for everyone. But the kitchen is well-kitted (only missing a toaster, unless we missed it), it has screens on the doors (bless!), great outdoor space and an orchard! I gave the “location” a 3 because it’s a 1 if you’re looking to do “stuff” but a 5 if you’re looking to relax and do a little side trip every so often. Matera, Craco, Tinchi, Policoro, all close, and Basilicata is just crammed with hidden gems. A really cool, historic region. A car is a must. Sadly we didn’t use the outside spaces more during the day as our vacation ran smack into a heat wave (40-44 every day) but it wasn’t so bad once we found the closest beach. 20 minute-drive. We’d go back.

Perfect place
The third time we stayed in this fantastic accomodation. The location is great (close to Pisticci, even closer to a supermarket, beach within easy reach) and the house itself is super comfortable. It has a charming rural design, one bedroom in the main house, two other bedrooms in seperate units. Great garden with lovely big table under a large sun roof.

La casa è molto bella con un bel giardino ed una area barbeque molto funzionale. Si tratta di una tipica masseria ristrutturata cercando di recuperare al massimo gli spazi, le aperture ed i materiali originali. Questo è il suo pregio ma anche il difetto principale. Nella descrizione non era citato che c'erano in realtà 3 differenti unità abittative separate: - l'ambiente principale con 2 bagni, cucina, sala e camera da letto - il "pollaio", con bagno camera da letto e cucinotto, SENZA ARIA CONDIZIONATA con altezza porte circa 1.6 m !! - Il "garage", con bagno e camera da letto, SENZA ARIA CONDIZIONATA. Non è difficile capire che in estate con 40°C è impossibile dormire senza condizionamento.

Ottima esperienza
La casa è molto bella e spaziosa (eravamo in 7 persone) ed equipaggiata di tutto.La casa si trova in una location molto tranquilla e vicina a tutto (supermercato, bar pizzeria ecc.) Il mare è raggiungibile in 10 minuti di auto. Eva e Mariagrazia sono state molto gentili e disponibili. Siamo capitati purtroppo in una settimana molto calda (40 gradi) e nelle 2 camere esterne la temperatura era veramente al limite della sopportazione. A nostra richiesta ci sono stati forniti ulteriori 2 grandi ventilatori ma la situazione non è cambiata di molto. Un suggerimento è quello di prevedere l'aria condizionata anche in quelle camere. In definitva l'esperienza è stata comunque molto positiva.
