Beautiful hotel, great location and staff!
Beautiful hotel in a lovely town. Staff were superb, great attention to detail and pleasant. Breakfast was pretty good, lovely dining room. Great parking too, very secure and well maintained. I would say the only two things that let it down were: 1. A few things such as the loose bidet (bolts need tightening), the light on the mirror not working, and the fridge turned off took the edge off the place. I had to pull the fridge out to find it wasn't connected properly, but the cleaning staff should have noticed this whilst checking the fridge for water. 2. The light coloured laminate floor in the bedroom is really dated and detracts from the grand, opulent style the hotel has gone for. It totally spoils such a lovely room and building. Compared to such a luxurious marble tiled shower, it felt really basic and 20 years out of date. I would stay again though as it was an enjoyable experience overall and fair value for money.

Charming hotel in a nice small city center. Very tasteful rooms. Unfortunately they seemed a bit un-prepared to deal with guests wanting a meal. The only thing they serve there is breakfast.

One of the best hotels in all of Italy. Rooms are super clean and staff is exceptional. Form check in to check out top notch. A 5 star hotel in the most authentic Italian village. Best local food and ambiance very charming village. A unique Italian getaway. A must try hotel.

Fantastic! One of the nicest hotels in Pisa. It's an old world hotel with modern features, right in the heart of Pontedera. The rooms are beautifully appointed, comfortable and elegant. Our room included a full balcony off the living room, two minibars, for cooling beverages, a separate bedroom and two bathrooms in full Italian marble. The breakfast is included and very delicious. Theybalso have an evening bar and reception in the evening. We were very happy with our stay.

Charming, great breakfast, lovely staff.
Clean well equipped hotel, spacious room. Everything was spot on, save for a noisy radiator at night which kept me a week. I should have mentioned to them but didn't. The breakfast is fantastic and the hotel is very well placed for exploring Pontedera. It's also a 10 minute drive to Pisa airport, so good for a last night stop.

Good central location near to train station
Ideal hotel for the Piaggio Museum and the town centre. Close to shops, restaurants and gelaterias. We stayed in one of the 6 hotel apartments. It was very quiet and ideal for relaxing after a full day. We had a microwave, hob and coffee machine but could also benefit from the hotel services such as breakfast at an extra cost if we chose to. We would stay there again if we ever return to Pontedera.

Nice hotel. Good to to have real desk staff (hotel rather than just rooms for rent.) Nice small town atmosphere, but not a lot of restaurants to choose from. Just sandwich cafe's and pizzeria. Still I liked the place. Good breakfast was included.

Nice hotel - awful town!
Nice hotel in a dump of a post-industrial Italian city. If you have to be in this immediate area, stay here - but if you can, move on to the coast.

Stayed for three nights very reasonable very clean and modern apartment with kitchen five minutes walk to train station 10 minutes to Pisa 2.60 euro and 45 minutes to Florence 6.80 euro staff were very pleasant and helpful English is not spoken much outside the Hotel being a small townit is quiet shops and restaurants don't, open late

Great location to get to Pisa and Florence by train. Stayed in the apartments behind the hotel. Spacious, clean, well appointed with all the modern conveniences EXCEPT one! No wifi! They tried to tell us the server was down......but I've heard that before from other hotels when their reception wasn't up to expectations. And not for 3 days. Had to go to hotel lobby for wifi. Staff was friendly and helpful. Very reasonable rate for such a beautiful apartment.

Wonderful hotel, fantastic staff, lovely touches like the carpet in the lift which gets changed daily to tell you the day, the breakfast selection was broad and good quality. I can't find any faults in this hotel

Had really enjoyable 7 night stay in one of the modern stylish apartments. Hotel is beautiful and staff really friendly and helpful. Pontedera has a lovely little town centre with plenty of local shops and restaurants and a non touristy feel. Train station gives easy access to all the sights of Tuscany. Highly recommended.

This is a very nice hotel. But, we had purchased 80 euros meats and cheeses a day before we were to leave intending to take them home with us. We discovered that the refrigerator had stopped working and the cheeses went bad. I thought that the hotel would partially compensate for our loss, but only said "We are sorry"

Elegant Hotel Convenient For Train And Bus Travel
The ambiance of Armonia Hotel goes beyond its well appointed lobby and the warm greetings of the caring and efficient reception staff. High ceilings, ornate fixtures, decorative and comfortable furniture, and fashionable floor to ceiling drapes were in our spacious guest room, as well as in the common areas. It made staying there very comfortable and inviting. The European style breakfast buffet is included in the room rate. It varied daily and the service was excellent. The offerings were more than adequate. A great breakfast is a great start to a day of touring. The reception staff happily provided us travel tips, suggestions, and other help. On one occasion they loaned us a measuring tape and an umbrella on another. Housekeeping was performed daily.

Excellent Hotel, very clean, lovely breakfast and frendly staff what more could you ask for. We stayed in the new apartment block, directly behind the hotel which were recently refurnbished. The rooms have all the latest gadjets, including free wi-fi and most importantly very quiet. If you book this hotel, i would recommend you upgrade and stay in the apartments.

Great alternative to Florence!
This hotel was excellent. Very reasonable compared to Florence and a short walk to the train station and 6 euro got us right to the heart of Florence. The hotel itself is beautiful and the staff was great. Even a parking garage that is far, far less than most. Will most definitely stay here again!

BEST VALUE IN TUTTI DI ITALIA
My wife and I have made ten visits to Italy over the last 25 years and dollar for dollar this is the best hotel value of any we have stayed in and this includes 5* hotels on the Via Veneto in Rome. The staff here went out of their way on several occasions to assist us including spending more than two hours trying to get a Europcar machanic to tend to a problem we had with our car on the day of our departure. This hotel was recommended to us by a friend and client, a U. S. wine importer, who stays here when visiting his Italian producers. We would also recommend the Armonia Hotel and Pontedera as a base for visiting the surrounding Toscano area. It is within an hour of Lucca, a "don't miss" town and an hour by train to Firenze. The hotel itself is beautiful and makes you feel you are in Italy with its antique furniture and beautifully appointed rooms and is in the center of the main square of Pontedera. And for those who travel by car it has parking.

Lovely little hotel set in a quiet Tuscan town
Stayed for 4 nights as part of honeymoon trip round Italy. Proximity to station was a key factor, as we used the train everywhere - Florence, Pisa, Siena and Lucca are all very easy day-trips by train from Pontedera. Hotel was good value, room very adequately furnished, and the breakfast was splendid, with wonderful bread and pastries from the bakery across the road. Everything was so clean. My wife loved the little carpet rugs in the elevator which were changed every day, with "Sunday" or "Monday" etc, woven into them. Ornate interior as per photos. Staff were all very friendly, spoke good English and seemed to enjoy helping me with my basic Italian. The hotel is located in a quiet part of town, but just 2 minutes from the main street with restaurants, shops, banks etc. Note that Pontedera itself is not really a tourist town - there aren't walls, galleries & cathedrals to explore there (well, none that we got to know about), but as a base we found it perfect. The hotel is an easy 6-8 min walk from station (no hills), which we covered each day, and also with our wheel-on cases when arriving/leaving. Note - if you don't stay anywhere less than the Executive Floor of 5* major chain hotels, then this might not work for you, but for the price, we loved it! It was clean friendly, quiet, welcoming, and secure. We are both hoping to return!

Armonia - a gem
If you love French / Traditional architecture & style - the hotel to stay at! Absolutely stunning interiors & rooms in the heart of Pontedara, a 30-40 min ride from Pisa (and Pisa itself was just blah except for the Tower, so recommend you skip the town & staying there and head to this place instead). Great breakfast area, and a Cappucino machine from a throwback era.

Beautiful But Small Rooms
A very decent hotel in a good central location for sightseeing in Tuscany. A classic Italian hotel with very friendly staff (most with basic English). Our only disappointment was the size of our room it was the smallest superior room I have ever stayed in. Pontedera is a small town with a decent main shopping street, just beside the hotel.. Plenty of good cafes with great coffee but not too many quality restaurants. I would definitely stay at this hotel again mainly because of the great price through hotels.com. It was £100 cheaper than Late rooms for a 3 night stay.
