Had most of our meals at the Inn, lunch, happy hour dinner and the Sunday brunch. This place gets a six star rating the best service place ran like a well oiled machine. From the host to bartenders to waiters, best service I have experienced food and drinks were excellent.
Gorgeous 18th-century building, carefully updated without destroying the charm. The manager showed us to our room--seriously!--which was a good thing since we could not have found our way through the labyrinthine passages and antique sitting rooms to our little corner of the original structure. Restaurant/bar was delightful, too. Already looking forward to our next trip there!
This is a historic inn in Doylestown PA. A historic town in Bucks Cty. You need to expect a few hiccups...it's not a new hotel. But I love staying here. Comfortable, quiet, close to where I'm going with a excellent restaurant and bar downstairs (their claim to fame these days) not expensive. I always stay in the Historic section but there is a newer section as well.
Although I only stayed one night for a wedding, I absolutely would have stayed more! The staff shows you to your room and tells you about the history of the property which I absolutely love. I stayed in one of the original rooms and it didn’t even feel like it was old, but was still nicely updated. The only minor, tiny issue was that there’s no electrical outlet in the bathroom, but that is normal with older properties. However, there was an extension cord in my room to help remedy that I would absolutely stay here again, even just for a little staycation.
The inn is beautiful, rooms are gorgeously appointed and generously sized. Plenty of amenities and a restaurant and bar really helped make my stay wonderful.
I liked that this place had a bar and restaurant in the building and had an ice cream shop across the parking lot. A daily gift certificate for breakfast down the road was provided with the stay and the food and service was really good there. There was a Wawa a short walk away and Capri pizza shop across the street. This was a nice and inexpensive place to stay within 15 minutes from Doylestown, Peddlers Village, New Hope and Lambertville (NJ). Our room was on the 3rd floor. The hot water took a little bit of running to get to the 3rd floor, but otherwise the room was clean and comfortable. The wi-fi was good as I needed to login to work for a bit.
Perfectly located near a Wawa, McDonalds and Giant grocery store. Plenty of parking. Popular Restaurant/Bar downstairs. The staff was great! All the people at the bar were friendly and fun. The room was extremely comfortable. We’ll definitely be back!
The Plumsteadville Inn is cute historic inn in a beautiful part of PA, close to other adorable towns. The property itself boasts a restaurant and bar with music (at least on Friday night) and ice cream on property. Note that there is no elevator & so you will need to carry your luggage upstairs to your room. Because we were in a room with a gabled roof, the ceiling angled toward the head of the bed - potentially a problem for tall people who stand up out of bed quickly. All in all, a great price for a nice place to stay.
We had the best stay at this unique Inn. Our room was huge and very clean. We had a great night sleep. The bed was so comfy. The Sunday brunch is a must. The only downfall is we wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely be back Oh, and the staff is awesome!
