Additionally, the view from the hotel was absolutely breathtaking, adding a special touch to my overall experience. The location of Hotel Vance is perfect, providing easy access to many of Portland’s attractions and amenities, which greatly enhanced my visit. "I’ve had some poor experiences staying in downtown Portland before, but this hotel was a pleasant surprise. At first, I was a little worried about the long check-in line, but the staff handled it exceptionally well, professional, polite, and courteous throughout. Parking with the hotel is optional, but I highly recommend it. Everything is within walking distance, restaurants, shops, and the stadium (we were in town for a soccer game). The facility itself is clean, modern, and well maintained. Overall, a great stay, we’ll definitely be coming back!"

"The room was great and the staff exceptional! We also enjoyed a breakfast and a dinner at the restaurant in the hotel. The stairwell journey through a history of pictures was informative. For those interested in the Paranormal activity side of our visit: light brightness adjusted on its own with one of our bedside lights inside the suite on the 4th floor. And one of our faces was distorted in a picture taken in front of the staircase in the lobby."
