"The best part of the property is the expansive lake view through the large windows in the main living/dining and kitchen areas so even on cloudy rainy days it’s nice to look out. The outdoor space is very nice especially the new dock and great fire pit area. We can picture lawn games, kids on the swings, and maybe volleyball even. It would be perfect for lots of fun water activities and outdoor enjoyment for families but for our spring break we just enjoyed games, movies, puzzles and lots of meals with our group while enjoying the view. There is only 1 main bathroom but it’s roomy. Fortunately there’s a half bath in the primary bedroom on the main floor; the rest of the bedrooms are upstairs. The cozy kitchen is well equipped and had tons of natural light. The home gives us a ‘grandma’s house’ vibe. The owner was quick to respond and seemed very nice and friendly. "The staff was great, you mostly have to text them as the office is only manned part time. The room was nice, cozy but had a microwave, frig, coffee maker, and TV. There was a portable heater which we used in the shower to reduce the fog as there was no fan to turn on to vent the room. Concrete has several fun shops and places to eat. The only drawback was a sump pump that was very annoying one night, ran every 30 secs making a whirring sound and then a thump all night long. Great location to get out and see the sites, enjoy the beauty of the area."
