"The property was definitely in the highlands. You should double check your gps and route since on more than one occasion it takes you through rivers. You better have a good SUV with high clearance. That being said, this little place was cute and clean. The pool area you need to walk down the road to but has a nice little area to hang out and be in the pool and has a good view. "We had a woderful time at Casa Illimani at Pinilla Highlands.. The rooms are very spacious and practically we had the dipping pool and the big pool for ourselves. Its is very close to Playa Avellanas. We loved the hill setting we saw several howler monkeys from our widow. Alejandro was a great host very responsive."
