This hotel is in a beautiful location, between the St, Mary's and Potomac rivers, on a narrow strip of land. Sunrise and sunset over the water are both spectacular. The rooms are very comfortable, and could probably use an upgrade at some point, but the rates are so affordable that this is a great and inexpensive getaway. The Ruddy Duck restaurant and bar next door is also delightful and reasonably priced. This hotel is perfect for a weekend getaway less than 2 hours from DC!

This Property was dated and worn reminding me more of an older fishing camp. But the views are second to none and the cost for the view was very reasonable. I would definitely stay here again for the views alone . Breakfast bar was limited which is fine and over all a great day getaway spot.

Piney Point Jewel

We love this place and have stayed here many times. There is a superb seafood restaurant next door called The Ruddy Duck. Fresh oysters from the Bay coming literally from the water in front of the restaurant. Both of these establishments are highyly recommended. The best part? The is water on both sides of this location as it is a narrow strip of land. Water all around.

The rooms where actually better than expected. I like that it kinda like a studio apartment. And the water view from the balcony was nice. Will def go back when the weather is warmer

This hotel has the advantage of being the only hotel between Lexington Park and Piney Point. The entire hotel needs to be updated and cleaned. There are tons of spider webs and dirt on the balconies. The bathrooms are not very clean and there was a ton of unrecognizable gunk behind the bathroom faucet. The front desk staff is very nice and it's next to the Ruddy Duck restaurant and bar which is a great spot.

The rooms were very large and views of the water were breathtaking. The hotel definitely could use a little extra TLC. A few things were broken in our room but nothing that would deter me from coming back. Those views were worth the inconveniences.
