"This property absolutely checked all the boxes for us. Communication with the owner and manager was excellent. Checking in was easy. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The inside and outside spaces met our needs perfectly. The fire pit area outside was a great place to hang out. During two of our four days there, we had a lot of rain; however, the large screened in porch was a great area to hang out during the rain. The furniture on the screened-in porch was very comfortable. Having a table for eating meals on the porch was really nice. Lighting in the kitchen is very important to us, so we were extremely happy with how well-lit the kitchen was. Also, we love to cook most of our meals, so we were pleased that the kitchen had everything we needed. The location of the house to the river, to DeSoto Falls State Park, and to downtown Mentone and Valley Head was an added plus. We love walking, so the sidewalk that led into town was great. It was really great for walking the dog. We couldn’t ask for a better location. It was quiet and peaceful and secluded but close to civilization. We would absolutely stay there again the next time we’re in Mentone."

"We really enjoyed the cabin. The property is beautiful and the inside was very clean. Would highly recommend it. I do have a suggestion. The bedroom with the tall wooden bed would be much easier to get into if you got rid of the box spring. You have a 10 to 12 inch mattress. All you need. Im 5'5" and had to use a chair to get in it."
