"Overall our stay was very great. We had to check in super late because of our traveling schedule and the staff was very accommodating. Breakfast was actually good. Most hotels have a very poor continental breakfast but this one was actually legit. The only bad thing that I can say about our stay is that I did pay extra for a room with a balcony and when we arrived the room was overall clean but it was clear that nobody had been out on the balcony and quite some time. It was very dirty and it was covered in cobwebs and bugs. I understand that this is near a wooded area and should expect some bugs but it seemed like nobody had checked the balcony in a while. Still an overall great stay and I would come back"

"Our stay at this sweet, historic little cabin could not have been better. The hosts were friendly and helpful, cabin was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed, and the surroundings were quiet, rustic, and beautiful. Be sure to read about the history of the place, and the "healing spring," in the building where you check in, and save time for a morning walk along the creek. And yes, the water is delicious. For less than the cost of a hotel room in Boone, we had the most restful and restorative night and morning of our trip. So glad we found this gem in the mountains."

"We had a wonderful time. The inside was absolutely beautiful. We were not lacking for anything. The host and hostesses were very nice and we really did enjoy our stay and slept like babies. The only thing I have a suggestion about is that when you first pull up it does not have any curb appeal which may turn people off. You wouldn't know that it was a bed and breakfast from the outside"

"Very nice property. The owners were very nice and they stay on top of everything to make sure that your stay is a good one. The cabin was beautiful and we really loved the hardwood floors. It is only about 10 minutes from West Jefferson, which was really convenient."
