RV & ATV Parking | Pine Cabin Near Rim Trails
Escape to a quiet Pine cabin surrounded by towering Ponderosa pines. Relax by the backyard fire pit, swing in the hammock, or unwind in the gazebo while enjoying cool mountain air and views of the Mogollon Rim. This cozy single-level cabin is the perfect base for lakes, hiking, ATV adventures, and peaceful weekends away from the heat.
A mild climate, fresh mountain air, fertile soil, and, of course, plenty of towering pine trees… It's easy to see why Pine-Strawberry's original settlers decided to call this spot home in the late 19th century. Enjoy your time in the cozy, quiet village of Pine in an adorable cabin that has everything you need for the perfect mountain getaway. With elk wandering the neighborhoods, Pine is cool in the summer and enjoys light snow cover in the winter to make it perfect year-round. This home is close to the local grocery store and a short walk to a popular local restaurant. The cabin is a single level with two split master suites, a kid's room with dedicated workspace, a pull-out couch, and two bathrooms. The large kitchen has everything you need to make a favorite meal and enjoy it at the beautiful dining table.
The backyard is spacious with a fire pit and plenty of seating, and a hammock.. Enjoy lazy afternoons in the gazebo with the comfortable patio furniture and fire table with mountain views. There is roomy parking and a yard with a weeping willow, Ponderosa pine, native and fruit trees - this is your chance to decompress in some cool mountain air. Propane is not provided, but easily obtained at the nearby grocery store.
The primary bedroom has a queen bed, large screen smart tv and an attached bathroom. The secondary bedroom features two queen size bunk beds, with their own smart tv for each bed! The third room has a twin bed, designed especially for the younger members of your group and includes a dedicated workspace. The living room has a large screen smart tv, a queen-size pull-out bed, and plenty of seating for the group. The stocked kitchen has all necessary tools to cook and shares the space with a log dining table. All TVs include Hulu, Netflix, Disney+ and Discovery channel. An added bonus is space for an RV and/or secured trailer parking for your outdoor toys! The home hosts a 12' RV gate and space for side by sides and quads if you happen to bring those along.
Notable sights within the town include the historic post office, established in 1884, and the Pine-Strawberry Museum, which opened in 1979 and takes its name from Pine and its sister community of Strawberry. Featuring artifacts that focus on the prehistory and history of towns, this gem is a must-see during your visit.
Looking to get out of town for a bit? Nearby Bear Canyon Lake and Knoll Lake offer plenty of outdoor fun. Pitch a tent, cast a line for rainbow, brown, and brook trout, or just enjoying taking a boat out on the sparkling water. Wrap your arms around one of the huge Ponderosa Pines that have been growing for hundreds of years in the Tonto National Forest Preserve that surrounds the quaint mountain town of Pine.
About 10 miles south of town examine another natural wonder, Tonto Natural Bridge – one of the world's only natural travertine bridges. The beauty doesn't stop there. This lovely town at the base of Arizona's famous Mogollon Rim also has seven lakes nearby. The fishing can't be beat!
Gold in the hills – discovered around 1875 – began the influx of settlers to the area. They also established the Strawberry Schoolhouse in 1885. It still stands today as the oldest schoolhouse in Arizona and is open for tours May through mid-October.
Time your visit right to take part in the annual Pine-Strawberry Summer Fest, usually in early June. Small-town charm, beautiful scenery, cool mountain air, live music, crafts, and food fill the festival weekend.

Perfect Find! Within Walking Distance to Everything!
Our stay at this cozy cabin in Pine, AZ, was nothing short of magical! It's truly an "imperfectly perfect" retreat – the kind of place that feels like home the moment you walk in. The cabin had everything we needed, with the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comforts. The kids especially loved roasting marshmallows in the fire pit – a highlight of our trip.
The location was ideal, just a short walk to local shops, bars, and entertainment. We enjoyed strolling around town and even found some great hiking trails nearby for a little outdoor adventure. The peace and quiet of the area, combined with the convenience of being so close to everything, made this the perfect getaway.
We can't wait to return!

Cute and close to all your needs
We had a wonderful stay at this Pine getaway. The place is cute, cozy, and thoughtfully set up, making it easy to relax and feel at home. One of the best parts is the location. You can walk to just about everything, including groceries, local bars, restaurants, the honey stand, and ice cream. It was so nice to park the car and enjoy the town on foot. The cabin itself was clean, comfortable, and full of charm. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a simple, relaxing Pine escape.
Very cute and cozy cabin at a great price with an amazing location in Pine! Its walking distance to bars, groceries, shopping and food! No need to pack everyone in the cars to explore Pine. The cabin had everything our family needed and more.
Used the cabin as an overflow sleeping for a youth camp heals near by. Worked perfect.

Cute But Needs Work
The home was super cute when we first arrived. When we started dinner and leading to when we went to bed the issues snowballed. The listing claims that there are BBQ grills; however, the property management does not provide propane for them nor do they provide propane for the fire pit out back. We filled one tank and expected compensation but was not offered that nor did we get a thank you. Instead we were told "propane is not supplied." The advertising should definitely be updated to reflect this. We decided to pay it forward at any rate for the next guests. The home was filthy as we settled in. There was an oreo in my son's bed, mnms on the floor etc. We reported this upon checkin and got a "thanks" nothing else. The home is cute, but the property management company needs some work. Tons of potential here :)

Promising but fell short
First, we received multiple emails that gave us different check in times. We arrived at 3 and paid an extra 25 to get in since one email said 3 and another said 4 for check in time. Even after paying extra I had to call to get the code for the door since the code that was listed in the email didn’t work. Upon entering there was cosmetic and cleanliness issues. More than would be expected for a vacation rental. When I called to address this, they said they *might* compensate part of the cleaning fee (they didn’t). They said they could send the cleaner back but at that point it’s awkward and I was working from the location so it was inconvenient. You would think refunding the cleaning fee would be a no brainer considering it looked like it wasn’t cleaned at all. Also upon showering the tub was not draining and was backed up in one of the bathrooms. The layout is nice, the area is nice, and the yard is a great size. There is so much potential here but complacency was the downfall as well as how the situation was handled in general. Hopefully this is a learning experience and future stays for other guests will be better based on our feedback and experience.

Best value and awesome location!
Location, location, location! Cute and clean cabin with all the amenities our family needed/wanted. It was walking distance to everything we could want eg(grocery store, bars/restaurants, ice cream, antique stores, etc.). It had a lockable RV gate to secure our trailer & side by side. Communication between the host and us was great as well (check in/out was easy and convenient). Our family books vacation rentals in multiple cities and this experience was truly a great one for us. We highly recommend booking here.
Oh! Lastly, there's a wall mounted touch screen with recommended places to eat and activities to view. That was helpful and unique to see in a vacation rental!
We plan on booking again.
