This place had everything you could need/want in a home away from home. Spacious, clean, and close to everything. Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.
We loved staying in this beautiful home. Very clean! We were able to find many places to go nearby like angry orchard and sams point preserve. We would love to rent this place again!

Cozy, comfortable and clean
This was the perfect place to stay. It was truly a home away from home. The property had everything we needed and we were made to feel welcomed. Everything was clean; from the kitchen, the bathroom, bedrooms and living areas. We would definitely use this property again.

Charming, Cozy and Comfortable
Staying here was everything the VRBO experience should be. The property was incredibly comfortable and welcoming and spotlessly clean, and exactly as advertised. Raquel (owner) is very warm and responsive and we had a lovely time with no surprises. Highly recommended!
Exactly as shown on pics. All good here. Thank you!

This was the Perfect home for us this week. Really enjoyed our stay. Will be back for sure.
We needed to spend a week in the area with some friends we were bringing along from Fort Worth Texas. This listing sounded so good, but you never know for sure. Well we could not have picked a better home to stay in. It was perfect. So happy and our friends were just as happy. Very comfortable to have two couples in this home. Love how easy it was to move around, great Kitchen, even used the grill outside one evening and had a nice time. We will not forget this place and hope to be back soon, plus we will recommend it to our friends who come up on a regular bases. Thank you so much, it was everything you said. Better than described!
Our contact Melissa and host Raquel were terrific! They returned communications promptly and happily accommodated us when we asked to extend our stay. The house was kept clean and the beds were very comfortable - which is so important to us! Location was great in proxemity to Watchtower Farms, also for strolling around town. There's consignment, ice cream, Pizza places and Asian teppan right around the corner. We even awoke to the cutest parade of high school band and lots of little leaguers cruising right past the house on Saturday morning. A real slice of Americana, in this old town! We weren't put off by 5 of us having to share the single bathroom. It's large and accomodating. When we return we are giving these folks a call.

Great location, very comfy!
We chose this house because of its proximity to Watchtower Farms (about 8 minutes away!). It was great for our family of 5. The kitchen had everything needed for a quick meal, the living area was comfortable, the bathroom was large and updated nicely and the bedrooms were large with very comfortable beds and pillows and air conditioning and tv in each room. The water does have a very strong smell that is found in many of the older homes in the area, not sure if a filter or softener would help that? And there were only 2 bath towels in the bathroom. Perhaps a few more could be added? But overall this was a great location and a very comfortable home! We will be sure to tell our friends!
Great 2 bedroom apartment in a two story house in Pine Bush. The space is very clean and bright, very comfortable couches, a separate kitchen and dining room. Not a huge space, but the layout makes it feel like there is. I was with two teenagers and they had room to watch TV and do their thing while I read and worked, we all had space.
The owners are very responsive and helpful. Pine Bush is a very small, quiet town south of the Shawagunks, 30 minutes from New Paltz, and in driving distance of nice hikes and visits to attractions near the Hudson.
Two things to consider: it is not near a lot of stuff; so just be ready for some drives, and chilling out. But depending on what you like to do, it might be enough for you. Second, the water is quite sulphuric, so definitely bring your own drinking water.
We had a great stay, thank you!
A friend and I drove up from Maryland so that I could do some family research in the area and to see some historic sites and visit a couple wineries. The house was very well stocked and comfortable for the two of us. And although the town was small we found the Mexican and Italian restaurants in town to be very good and could walk to them. The dinner was OK but not great and near a nice supermarket.
We did have some comments on the house. There was not enough light in the living room but there was a floor lamp in one of the bedrooms which was not needed there so we moved it to the living room and that helped.
We are older ladies and found the bathtub a bit hard to get into safely. There was no grab bar and the side of the tub is rather high while the bottom of the tub was slippery and sloped to the middle so not flat to stand on. Younger folks probably wouldn't be too bothered by this but beware if you have difficulty accessing a tub.
The house also sits pretty close to the highway that goes through the town so especially from the front bedroom you could here traffic noise. It did not really bother us but might if you are a very light sleeper.
If I ever go back to do more research in the area I would probably stay here again.
Lovely and spacious and a comfortable and rather quick ride from the city. Well appointed. Would recommend and stay again. Kids loved having lots of room to play.
We had an awesome stay! Everything was easy and clear, the home was comfortable (my kids said "this is so much better than our real house") and convenient location to everything else we had to do over the weekend!
I stayed at Raquel's place with my husband and two children, aged 8 and 6. We were there for a weekend getaway, hoping to do some hiking in the Shawangunk mountains. We had a fantastic time. The house was super clean and we immediately felt very comfortable. The kids were thrilled with the space and to have plenty of room to spread out. There was plenty of tea and coffee and other necessities, and the kids were excited about popcorn and granola bars. The cute town of Pine Bush is right around the corner, with plenty of casual dining options. There's also a pharmacy and grocery store close by for any forgotten items. New Paltz was a very scenic 1/2 hour drive; Sam's Point just 15 minutes. We had an amazing time and hope to be back!!
We had a wonderful time exploring the area as well as relaxing in this comfortable home. We enjoyed local restaurants and prepared some meals in the tidy, well-equipped kitchen. We’d love to return for a longer stay!
Me, my partner, my sister, her 6-month old son, and her husband, booked this spot for a mini-vacation. We'll have to come back since we didn't experience the town due to COVID-Pine Bush seems like such a fun and eclectic place.
Raquel was very accomodating and would instantly respond to any of the questions I had. Check-in was easy, the place was spotless. The beds were comfortable with tons of pillows and blankets. The bathroom had nice, hotel-like mini soaps and a plethora of soft, clean towels. Even though the place is on the older side, we were shocked at how well insulated it was. The real MVP was the fully stocked kitchen that allowed us to bake and cook for 4 days, Tupperware to store leftovers, and a grocery store close by. I didn't taste the sulfur in the water like some of the other reviews mentioned, but my brother in law said he could taste it? Either way, there's a Brita filter in the fridge or you can bring your own bottles.
If you are planning a stay longer than three days I recommend bringing the following:
- Some extra paper products (paper towels, napkins, toilet paper)
- A few tall trash bags
I'm not sure how the town handles recycling, but my only suggestion would be to have a bin for guest's recyclables. It's also quite possible we just couldn't find the bin. We just ended up just taking ours with us, which wasn't a problem since we had the space in the car.
Overall the stay was everything we needed to enjoy our time together. Thanks Raquel!
My boyfriend and I came to the area to visit Angry Orchard for his birthday. This super cozy home was about 10 minutes away from the orchard.
We can thank Raquel enough for providing us with an amazing stay. We got to the area early and she let us check in! The home provides everything you possibly need!! The bed was comfy, the bathroom towels were great quality and it was such a quiet neighborhood. We will definitely be back again!
We found plenty to do in the area. A few hikes in Minnewaska State Park. An outdoor brewery for some lunch and music. Quiet towns had nice places to wander around.
The house was peaceful. Lots of sunlight pouring in the large windows. Well stocked kitchen for slow home cooking.
