"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Birdsong Retreat, nestled just minutes from Patagonia Lake. We stayed in the Hummingbird Casita, which was cozy, beautifully maintained, and surrounded by nature — the perfect escape from the hustle of everyday life.Robin, the owner and host, was exceptional. Warm, friendly, and incredibly accommodating, she made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Her thoughtful touches — from fresh eggs to locally sourced snacks (many made by her!) — made our stay even more special.One of our favorite experiences was enjoying morning coffee while wandering the walking labyrinth, a peaceful and meditative way to start the day. The close proximity to Patagonia Lake made it easy for us to raft and enjoy the stunning mountain birdlife.And we can’t forget the infinity hot tub — an especially terrific way to unwind and take in the dramatic monsoon evenings. "This place is amazing; we wished we had planned to stay more than one night! Everything is very thoughtfully designed and beautiful. Comfortable beds, very nice kitchen and dining space, amazing views from the house and covered patio. Kitchen is very well stocked with utensils and appliances. The grounds with gardens and hot tub and pool are incredible. Can’t say enough great things about this place. We absolutely loved it. "
