Perfect for our day trip!

This house was great for our short day trip to Pilot Mountain. Kids attended an all day sports event, while we walked throughout Main St then relaxed at the house. The house was clean, amenities were great, and the neighborhood is quiet. Nellie was very responsive to my questions before and during our stay, which was much appreciated!I would recommend this place for quick day trips anytime you're in the area!

Family Weekend

I enjoyed our time here. The location was close to great hiking and a fun winery, and we were able to do a wine tasting. Wonderful communication from the property owner, too. Very peaceful and relaxing.

Great little spot. Host was very fast at communicating. Clean and roomy. I would say if you have kids its a older house thats been taken care of the house is smaller i wouldnt want my kids running around to mess the house up. For my mother who has cancer she fell in love with it. The house had great views. Not to far at all from stores. Easy to get on and off the road for parking the vehichle. Just a perfect little cottage and great stay!! Beds was very comfortable. Smaller bathroom but was able to move around just fine. Id love to go back and stay if my mamma ever needs to go back to N.C. to see her family.

It was dirty with hairs in sink. Washer dryer on porch with a door that has a big gap in it. Webs galore on the porch. Window air conditioning not even cooling.closets gross. Tv in smaller room with non in the the master. Would not stay again!

I would have given 5 Stars, but much to our dismay there was no AC even thought the title stated AC and WiFi. My wife is minapausal and suffers from hot flashes. After arriving we then had to go out and buy a fan. We opened the bedroom window to get cooler air and the pollen caused my wife's algeries to flair up even more. Not having AC caused us restless nights for sure. The rest of the cottage was wonderful and we would return provided there was AC.

Constructive feedback

It was extremely hot the week we stayed, and I was not under the impression that there were window units in this cottage. The window units could not keep up with the heat so to say we were uncomfortable most of the week is an understatement. There seems to be some kind of a shortage in being able to plug in multiple things my husband had to go under the house four different times for the fuse box. The washer did not drain and spin. You had to go back and drain and spin it some of the closet doors didn’t close very very little storage for much of anything wouldn’t stay there again.On the positive side, the host was very quick to get an iron and ironing board because they didn’t have one and they did accommodate with giving us a box fan since it was hot so I don’t have anything negative to say about the host just some constructive feedback about the actual cottage.
