"This was a very peaceful and quiet vacation we had a couple of dear come to visit us we seen eagles and wild turkeys the cabin was very nice. The steps going upstairs was a bit sketchy they could use some type of hand rails and the boards on the deck should be replaced the kayaks were very nice and the view of the lake was wonderful "

"My wife and I stayed here for three nights. We loved the time to unwind and relax. The cabin has a rustic feel but has modern amenities. 100% recommend staying here. Evenings around the camp fire and mornings in the sauna. beautiful property and enjoyable time. Close enough to Brainerd but far enough to feel like you are out in nature."

The beds were very comfortable and the layout of the cabin made it easy to have time together playing games and enjoying the week. The sand bottom on the lake made for a great place for the kids to swim and enjoy the outdoors."

"Annual family trip that included our granny (89 years). Matt was great to work with and the cabin and extras exceeded our expectations. It was great for the kids to have their own bunk space and accessible for our granny. Everyone enjoyed a stroll on the pontoon and a pull around the lake for the kids on the tube. Matt thought of everything when it came to extras and supplies needed in his property. We will definitely be back. "

"Gorgeous property and landscaping with beautiful flora and a lot of green space for yard activities. Patio area was great with its lounging furniture, gas fire pit and cooking area (grill, griddle, fridge). Home decor very nice, and can sleep a good number of guests (we wish there had been more plates and bowls to accommodate same). Exceptional, large beach for kids - all sand, no weeds, shallow well beyond the end of the long dock - and we made fun use of the available kayaks, paddle boards,...

We brought our SUPs and paddled every day, and did some mountain biking nearby in Cuyuna State Park. Property was perfect for our needs, property manager super responsive, we'd definitely come back here again."

Such a private space, big yard to play games in, great fire pit and dock to the water. Communication with the host was always very helpful and timely- she was great to deal with!
