"The accommodation was basic but clean, located on the beach but it’s not relaxing due to the large volume of long tails boats arriving and departing all day every day. Getting a long tail boat to the pier can also be difficult. They won’t leave with one or two people so you often have to wait until more are ready to leave. Getting dropped off by the taxi boat in high tide is difficult especially at night. No good options for eating close by. You can walk to the main area in about 20/25 mins but...

"I arrived at Long Doo hostel mid morning on 13th January. I had booked and paid for 11 nights 2 weeks prior to travelling. I booked & paid for Mon nite cos i wanted to check straight in without having to wait till 3pm. I arrived to be told they had let my bed go. 😡😡 thought i wasn't going & without foning to check, just let it go. "We’ve had a good stay at the Uphill cottage hotel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, helpt with our luggage all the way up to our room. And also down again when we checked out👍Every day they gave us clean towels and water. The view was very nice untop, you could see the see from two sides. I would recommend this hotel, however, you have to be fit to climb the stairs to your room!"
