"Excellent place for a vacation. They let us park our camper for our stay. We enjoyed talking to the animals and watching the deer in the early morning. Lots of games, very nicely decorated home and extremely peaceful."

"We were looking for a quiet retreat from a busy lifestyle and that is exactly what we found. I could not give 5 stars for interaction with staff because we didn't really "see" anyone but we did communicate by text and the person was very prompt and always helpful. Check-in was super easy. Cabin #5 was large enough to be comfortable, had everything we needed, the bathroom was nice. It was a lovely property to walk around outside and enjoy nature."

"Such a peaceful and beautiful property. I had concern about staying at a house with no air conditioning in August - but the house ceiling fan and open windows cooled the house immediately each evening. We were all very comfortable, and I added a blanket for two of the nights. Great shower pressure. Large house. Ginormous basement. The heated pool was heaven. Very comfortable reclining chairs, umbrellas, table, etc. at the pool. Beautiful landscaping. Stayed with 7 adults (my spouse and our kids) - felt spacious. Chris is gracious host with great communication. Enjoyed her herding demonstration. I had wondered if the dog would be noisy or if there were any roosters, etc that might affect sleep. Nope - it’s very quiet. It’s a place that is restful for the soul."

"I traveled with my 9 year old son and mother. The hosts were very gracious and kind. Communication was a breeze and the property is absolutely magical. The cottage is on the water and we had access to a row boat and floating dock. Words and photos don’t do justice to the beauty, tranquility and peace of this property. The location is ideal for sightseeing, close to Sleeping Bear Dunes, lighthouses and the airport. We hope to return! Thank you to our hosts for a memorable vacation we won’t ever forget! We miss you, Dot!"
