We stayed in the 90s-inspired camper over the 4th of July weekend and overall had a good stay. The camper was clean, had plenty of space for our family, and was stocked with lots of extra pillows and blankets, which was a nice touch. The RV park itself is fantastic! The bathrooms are brand new and very clean, there's a nice fenced dog park with lights, and it's right on the river. The location couldn't be better—just outside downtown Pigeon Forge and only about 15 minutes from Gatlinburg. One tip for future guests: bring plenty of bug spray because the mosquitoes are no joke!Unfortunately, there were a few downsides. The biggest issue was the roaches. These were not the large outdoor wood roaches that occasionally wander inside—they were the small German cockroaches that are commonly associated with indoor infestations. Because of that, we'll be stopping at a laundromat on our way home to wash everything before bringing it into our house to avoid any unwanted hitchhikers. The kitchen was also missing a few basic necessities. There were no dish towels or dish rags, no cleaning spray, no broom, and no coffee pot, which made it difficult to clean up or make coffee during our stay.Overall, we enjoyed the location, the camper's theme, and the RV park amenities, but I hope the pest issue and missing kitchen essentials are addressed because those would make a big difference.
