"The photos don't do it justice! We were pleasantly surprised by the apartment - fabulous view out of living room window, good size terrace, large living space. All was clean and comfortable. The apartment is well equipped for cooking, washing machine, hair dryer etc. beautiful old restored traditional building opposite the castle. A boulangerie and Spar 2 mins walk. 2 mins to swim off the rocks, 3 mins to the pretty village beach, 5 mins to the main one. No complaints! We'd love to come back....

"Next to an overall 5 star rating for this new, very clean, and well equipped appartment it is worth mentioning that the owner of the appartment makes you feel very welcome. "We had a 2 room suite complete with full kitchen, plates, pots and pans, coffee pot, microwave and hot burners, view of the swimming pool and for a great price. Early check in after some minimal time spent finding us a 1st floor room, due to no elevator, but all in all very accommodating and friendly. We had to walk a few blocks to find an open restaurant but we were right up the hill from the train station. The tiny tourist train took us through the old Town and up to the citadel and a small but fine museum we really enjoyed. The tourist information Center was up by the museum also. The hotel pool wasn't opened yet for the season but green lawn and picnic tables were nice. Only a little student noise at night but I think it was spring break. Nice garden cat! Very helpful staff, they gave me cakevto eat while waiting for room and help with our luggage. Great bargain and very friendly staff."

"The hotel is in a great location - we arrived by train and found it easily, and the major attractions, restaurants and shopping were walkable from there. The staff were very nice and the continental breakfast was simple but delicious. The decor is very nice but the bathrooms would benefit from some upgrades (my room and my friend’s). If I returned to Bastia, I would stay there again. "

"Close to the beach, gated for security, quiet location but restaurant supermarket and pharmacy less than 5 minutes walk away. Pool clean and quiet. Lovely location and wooded surroundings on the complex. Best to hire a car to get here or to get to Bastia town as taxi fare from airport was 40 euros one way and 40 euros to Bastia town one way."
