"We stayed 4 nights. The staff was lovely , friendly and helpful. Arezzo has a beautiful compavt, interesting old city with MANY beautiful chirches and museums and they are all a short walk from Hotel Portici. You are also a short walk from the train station. It is as advertised meant to be an old fashioned spot and it is but the bathroom has everything modern and works perfectly. We recommend this place to anyone who is NOT looking for a spiffy modern cubic impersonal spot!"

"This is a wonderful hotel. All the staff were so friendly, helpful and professional in every respect. The restaurant and quality of food was wonderful - such a relaxing and comfortable dining room. I'd rate it as one of the best for breakfast that I have experienced. We spent a week at the hotel and would have been quite happy to have stayed longer. We dined out in highly rated restuarants in Cortona but none were better that the hotel restaurant. "
