"Fun Stay at a 600+ year old estate in the small country village of Lasow where the owner takes pride of this old treasure. Small Room, basic shower, but a nice sitting area outside the room with coffee and tea in china cups on a tea table. Bring your own shampoo and soap. 20 Minutes from exploring the treasured Medieval Old Town Gorlitz Germany to the south. About 40 minutes north through the long pine tree woods, we stumbled upon Stalag Luft 3, the original prisoner of war camp where the Great Escape occurred. Carefully watch for the small sign on the right just past the museum. "

"We loved our time here in a beautiful location and with a great sense of history. Unfortunately the check in experience was a little stressful. We tried to get directions and check in details beforehand by messaging the host and through VRBO but without result. Following the directions on the listing did not take us to the property and it was only by chance spotting it across the fields that we managed to get there. We wandered round for a while looking for someone and eventually found our hosts door where he was waiting for us.
