"We had a very nice time at Anne Marie's place. She was really welcoming and helpful. Checking in and out was very quick and straightforward. She gave us great information about what to see and do on the area too. The location is very good, in a quiet place, but close to supermarkets and a few lakes with bars and restaurants. "Quite simply, the perfect little gîte with exceptional attention to detail from our hosts Lisa and Andy. Everything is perfect down to the subtle colour palette, and the pops of brightness in the bedlinen. Amazingly comfortable superking bed! The kitchen is very well equipped and the bathroom, though small, is very chic and functional. The pièce de résistance is however the outside space - extensive and private with comfortable outside furniture, and very well tended despite the extreme temperatures during our stay. My husband caught a few tiddlers in the lake (tench, bream). Watch out for the coypu! Our hosts respected our privacy whilst being on hand for any queries. I can't recommend too highly !"

"Beautiful hotel in a gorgeous setting. Room was very spacious with own balcony overlooking gardens. We had dinner in the restaurant on one night on the patio which was wonderful. Very attentive staff. Breakfast let it down slightly with choices, we only found out on second day we could ask for eggs. Would highly recommend the hotel"

"A l’arrivée, le digicode qui nous avait ete donné était celui du locataire précédent, mais les propriétaires sont réactifs. Sinon, le reste était impeccable.Logement, mieux que sur les photos, bien situé, calme, très propre, bien équipé, agréable.L’escalier qui donne accès à l’espace de vie est raide, mais le logement est presque contre la falaise ! Et du jardin en terrasses, on a une belle vue. sur Brantome, la petite Venise du Périgord."

"This hotel is lovely. It was clean throughout, the pool was open and available, parking outside at the front was plentiful and the flower troughs along the front were beautiful. Communication with Stephane was easy and he offered to allow us access before 6pm, which we didn’t take advantage of in the end. His phone number is clearly visible on the front door if the hotel is unmanned. The food in the restaurant was top quality and the service was excellent. We would have no reservation in recommending this hotel to others."

"Just a one-night stay, but after one night, we wanted to stay a week. The personnel were not just helpful, they were downright AWESOME. Above and beyond. We came in around lunchtime and opted to eat on property. Best decision we could’ve made. The small staff made the most of their culinary skill. The lunch was perfect. Homemade jams and other special touches made it so. Seriously perfect. When we are in town for dinner and had a less-than-subpar experience, we remarked, almost in unison, “We should’ve eaten on property.” The room was a standalone bungalow up a short path. The configuration of the property was quirky in all the right ways. There is a small outdoor pool (which we knew was there at booking but didn’t use), and the room was very comfortable. Bed linens were just right and the bathroom was ample. Each room has a hard key and a safe key. Took a little to get it right, but no issues. If you need to stock up on snacks, you’re about a hundred meters from the Aldi. We had indicated we’d have breakfast, and despite getting up earlier than anticipated and wanting to hit the road, we stayed for one last taste of the incredible service and hospitality here. If you like cookie-cutter, don’t stay here. If you like a unique, personal experience, book now."
