"We had to make a last minute change to this property from one we had in San Gimignano, and we are delighted that it worked out that way. The property is super relaxing and the staff made our stay memorable. The owner/on-site chef made a fabulous 3 course meal for dinner, plus dessert, and breakfast was simply perfect If you do not have a car and anticipate hiring a taxi, I advise that you set up the taxi in advance and the owners will be happy to provide a number for you. "In regards to the actual location of the hotel, it was excellent. However, there were some issues regarding the room location in the hotel itself. We had several heavy bags and my parents who are elderly, had to go upstairs, after leaving the elevator, and we had lift these heavy suitcases to get to their room. It would’ve been beneficial to know about this prior to booking these specific rooms as we probably could’ve made arrangements to have something more accessible."
