"These cabins are a bird watchers paradise. We saw over 40 species from the deck of our rustic little cabin. This location is out of the way. If you are driving yourself you will need 4 wheel drive as the driveway is steep and a bit rocky. Romey will work with you to get you a ride if you need one at a fair price. "We stayed one night at Hacienda La Pacífica. The amenities, especially the pool, are excellent, and the rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. Unfortunately, our overall experience was disappointing. On the morning of our departure, the entire hotel lost its water supply. We had planned to leave early, but we couldn't shower. The staff initially offered us buckets of cold water, which we declined. After breakfast, we were informed that the issue had finally been resolved. Dinner the night before was quite expensive but very good. However, we were disappointed with the breakfast, which didn't match the quality of the dinner and felt overpriced for what was offered"
