Our stay was perfect. We had the space we all needed in this beautiful home. It was a perfect blend of allowing our family of 10 to dine together in comfort but also allowed some to retreat for the night while the remaining members played cards or pool. We absolutely loved the cabin! The host was so generous in decorating the cabin for Christmas and leaving something under the tree for our children. It snowed on our last day and we had such great time. The cabin is beautiful and spacious for the whole family. I would highly recommend staying here.

Lovely home, fantastic vacation

We loved this cabin and will certainly highly recommend it to anyone . The beds were extremely comfortable and luxurious . The kitchen had all the necessities although we seldom ate in because we were too busy enjoying the hiking, biking and gorgeous scenery of the Black Hills. The Cabin also had its own outside entertainment with flocks of visiting turkeys and a few deer who visited each day.

Exceeded my expectations. Extremely well equipped kitchen. The 3 floor levels gave us plenty of space for privacy and also family time together. A modern attractively designed “cabin” with comfortable stylish furnishings. The country setting is upscale and peaceful.. You will be very fortunate if you have the opportunity to stay here!

Cozy Cabin

This cabin was perfect for our family to gather in. We had come to attend our father's/grandfather's funeral and wanted a place where our large family could stay together. The large dining table and open kitchen/living room space was nice for cooking and visiting, sharing memories, laughter, and a few tears. Everything was neat and tidy, and the bed were so comfortable! The game room was a hit, and the neighborhood turkeys were a highlight! We definitely recommend the Family Cabin Retreat and would book it again when we are back in the area.

Outstanding Home

We absolutely enjoyed our time here! The home was well maintained and clean. It was a perfect spot for relaxing after our daily trips to the surrounding area attractions such as Mt. Rushmore, Devil's Tower, Badlands, Custer Park, Wind/Jewel Cave and more! We appreciated being close to major shopping centers as well as local restaurants. This allowed us to either choose to eat in or check out a new place in town to eat. The manager of the property was quick to respond to our pre arrival questions and was accessible while we were there as well. My family would highly recommend this beautiful home for your Rapid City adventures!

I loved this place!

Everything about this was great. It was a private location. Everything was top quality. Furniture was comfortable, beds and pillows were great. Everything was fresh and clean. And the host was lovely and left us many treats. And the property was crazy. Everyday there would be deer walking the property and in the evenings, about 50 turkeys would come on the property and fly up into the trees to sleep. It was so much fun watching all that. Top quality all the way around.

Fantastic stay

Loved this property. Outside of town enough to feel like we were in nature, but close enough to be convenient to anything. I could not find the lockbox on arrival (I must have been tired) - I called the property manager, she answered right away and was very helpful and friendly. Everything was clean, the beds are super comfortable. We cooked several meals and the kitchen has everything needed (sharp knives, measuring cups, quality cookwear). I noticed there is also lots of items for younger kids at the house (our are teens so we did not need). Snacks are arrival (so great after a long travel day). Highly recommend! The turkeys and deer in the back yard were a great bonus.
