A really great space, clean facilities. Would recommend. Only issue is high smell/chemical use that is not good for asthmatics or those sensitive. Room had strong toilet spray smell and bathrooms constantly sprayed automatically with toilet spray which is hard for respiratory sensitivity. This aside the property is fantastic, clean, great facilities, easy check in and very friendly staff.

The style of cabin you chose does not include a bathroom or kitchen but there are 3 communal bathroom facilities, and 2 camp kitchens close to the units for guest use. The listing on Expedia mentioned the option for a private bathroom, but that wasn’t available. And when I arrived, my room smelled like cat litter, the linens were old, stained, and torn, and the fridge buzzed all night. Would not recommend.

Hi TaliaI'm sorry to hear your recent experience with us was unpleasant. Upon receiving your email yesterday, we investigated the room and discovered there was an underlying odour in the curtain (which has since been removed and washed). I immediately contacted Expedia and requested a full refund which you should receive in the next few days. As explained in a previous email, we would have gladly upgraded you to a room with a bathroom but unfortunately, we had no availability. Although we are in the process of upgrading linen and furnishings in all units, at this stage that particular unit has not yet been completed. We had a quick overnight stay before catching the ferry the next day. The small unit and ensuite were perfect and staff very engaging. Weather was not the best so didn’t get much of an opportunity to explore the rest of the camp. A great setup for a quick overnight before/after the ferry. Thanks.

I loved the location close to the hills. Even torrential rain overnight on one day didn't "dampen" my enjoyment at all. In fact the sound of the rain on the roof was enjoyable. My cabin was close to amenities and easy to access. I would definitely stay there again.

The photo posted on booking did not reflect our room, whuch was avsilutely basic. No tea making facilities. There was a kettle but no cups. No towels.

We have several different categories of rooms, ranging from basic standard cabins which use the communal facilities, through to large one and two bedroom motels. The unit we got was not as represented online showing a cabin with a deck. After booking I discovered there was no bathroom inside. The worst was the overwhelming smell of a strong freshening agent used during the cleaning process. It was so strong even neighbouring cabin occupants stood back from the fan’s exhaust we set up. Staff made us feel like ‘complainers’ rather than victims of an untenable situation. We were moved to another cabin without the odour however the beds were terrible with wells in the centre. The public bathroom was clean as was the shared kitchen although no markers were provided to label our food.
