"The pool was at 50 degrees, they wouldn’t turn on the heater. They don’t set foot in your room unless you are there for more than 3 days. This means no towels, beds aren’t made, no tissues, and out of conditioner. They didn’t have any milk for breakfast and our tv needed to be “reset” every am in order to work. The only pleasant fella was the guy working breakfast. He needs a raise and should give lessons to the other staff members working behind the desk. We had a boys basketball team at the hotel and they couldn’t swim, LAME! "

"Overall, our 10-night stay was sufficient and worked for what we needed, but there were several cleanliness and maintenance concerns that affected our experience.First, I want to give Preston credit for being very communicative. He responded quickly to messages before and during our stay, which I appreciated. The neighborhood was also quiet which we enjoyed. Unfortunately, overall cleanliness was the biggest concern. The bunk bed room had a very strong musky odor, similar to cat urine, that made it unusable for the colleagues who planned to sleep there. Shortly after arriving, our dog found a stack of beef sticks underneath the living room couch. Preston apologized when notified, but no effort was made to address it further. The master bedroom also needed attention. The fitted sheet did not fit the bed and repeatedly popped off, the comforter smelled strongly of cologne, and the pillowcases were ripped. There was also a sticky substance on the nightstand drawers. Additional concerns included what appeared to be mouse droppings in the very messy kitchen utensil drawer and outdoor areas that had not been cleaned. We also chose not to use the grill or hot tub due to the overall cleanliness concerns. The home has nice features and furnishings, which made these issues more surprising. We made the best of the stay, but it did not meet our expectations for cleanliness."

"Was a great place to unwind during the week long stay on lake erie. Host was great with communication, house was just far enough out to be peaceful and felt safe to leave my boat in driveway. Plenty of room inside. Nice big driveway that wrapped around so i didnt have to back in of the road with power to charge the boat batteries. There's a lit area under the barn leanto to clean fish. There's a little country gas station 1/4 mile away for ice, gas and snacks. Catawba and mazurik ramps are 20 minutes away. Sandusky and huron 30. Easy access to the toll road or 2 for wast and west travel. "

"This cottage was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The bay view was stunning and truly the highlight of the property. While the weather kept us from fully enjoying it, the outdoor deck and fire pit area would be incredible on a warmer evening. Overall, a great place to stay and relax! "

"This property is in a rural setting but within a 5 minute drive to the Kroger grocery store/town. So buying those last minute food items was not a hassle. The linens were nice and clean as were the towels, etc. The host decorated very nicely with lit Christmas trees, bells, and prop wrapped presents with bows - VERY NICE. The kids enjoyed the foosball and ping-pong tables in the garage."
