"Roberta goes above and beyond to make her guests comfortable and welcome. The room was beautiful and quiet. Her breakfast included dozens of options for food and she even took orders from a menu, which she then immediately cooks, such as different kinds of crepes. They were wonderful. "I loved the high ceilings and the way the room was decorated. I loved the veranda on room 322. The wall of the tub in the bathroom was too high and not easy to step over. The glass wall protecting the bathroom floor from water spray was too short. The floor of the tub is slick and could lead to falls."

"The restaurant staff was phenomenal. Check-in went very smoothly however we were staying in the penthouse. The most expensive room on the property with the taxes were almost as much as the actual stay, the keys to the outer doors did not work and we were locked in for the evening and the desk closed. To be fair it was very late, however, there should’ve been a way to reach someone on the property to let them know we couldn’t leave the top floor Also, the air-conditioning units were not working. The hotel itself is stunning. It was worth the stay for the gorgeous architecture, well appointed renovations and charming breakfast without standing staff and beautiful veranda."

"WOULD NOT RECOMMEND Awful noisy unpleasant room. Many steep narrow stairs , no lifts. Could hear train loudly and neighbours having sex even louder. Room was very basic and looked NOTHING like the photos. Hard bed. Terrible pillows. Weird small shower. In dire need of a renovation. Area is close to old town but very run down. Was very disappointed. We travel a lot using Hotels.com bookings. This is the first hotel we have been in that was nothing like the photos. Room we were in needs painting and updating at the moment it is a one star option"
