We couldn’t understand why the place was mostly empty, but we stayed mid-week, and the place clearly caters to Italians (even the spa menu was only in Italian). The air-conditioning in the room was not very strong and very noisy, but otherwise very nice room. "

We considered staying in Paestum to be close to the great temples but knowing that La Mortella was only 20 minutes away convinced us to try something different during our Italia tour. The BnB was a bit hard to find but once we were there it was worth seeking. Antonio and his family also work the land with citrus and olive groves dominating the landscape. "Nice room and a lovely pool and beach area. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only thing we missed was a balcony. The location is also a bit off from the city, and the buses don’t pass by very often."
