There is a somewhat narrow time window when staff are present to receive you, between 2:30 pm and 7 pm, unless you make specific arrangements with them. The room and bathroom were fine and there is a common area kitchen. If on foot, the location of the hotel within the walled historic city is fine, not far from the central square but up a hill. Restaurants are also nearby. The bus stop to the nearest train...

Direct access to the Canterbury to Rome pilgrims' trail which provides a pleasant 90 minute walk to San Gimingano. Superb views in all directions.
