I’d give it 3.5 star so keep your expectations in tact. The gym; forget about it … it’s garbage! Breakfast is ok but too busy. The restaurant has a beautiful view though. The one bedrooms are on the other side of the highway but they have transportation non-stop.

The location in Expedia is WRONG! It is 45 minutes walk to the beach (down a busy highway with no sidewalk) not 4 minutes away like the Expedia website claims. I called Expedia and they said it is "correct" even though it shows the wrong location in the map and lists that it is close to dining options which it is not. Other than the location being 45 minutes away from the promised location... It was a terrible experience. The beds are uncomfortable, the breakfast was stale with flies, the lunch and dinner are expensive and underwhelming, there is only one shuttle to the beach per day one way... So we ended up spending over $200 in taxies and food. The clothes washing services are 3x more expensive than in town and then it smells moldy so that we couldn't wear the "clean"clothes. (The washed bath and beach towels also smell moldy every day as well). If the resort felt like a 2 star resort... There was no counter space in the bathroom and they wouldn't bring us extra toilet paper until we completely ran out. The AC smells bad and takes a very long time to get going to be cold. Really needs renovation. The location is on a cliff... So walking is not an option... If you are unlucky enough to be across the street as we were... You have to call the front desk to send you a shuttle even just for breakfast which was horrible. I asked for my money back on day 1 and was denied because they say it's the right location even though they admitted that it shows up wrong on the web.

It was a bit outdated for sure. But ocean view was great and was quite close to the nice beaches. Staffs were very kind. Good value for money.

Really stunning property, a bit in the middle of nowhere. Service was absymal. Complaints were laughed at and some of the staff v rude, ie waking you up in.tge morning with loud talking and bangining when cleanimg rooms of those who hsve checked out. Complain and you just get told "ok, ok". Had to wait best part of an hour plus 4 calls to reception just for toilet roll!

Property overrall is looking run down. Some repairs and cleanup to be done. Information about beach access was confusing in resort distribution page. There is absolutely no walking access to the beach.

It was ok. The photos were nicer than the real facility. Pool was dirty and has cracked on some parts. Hard to walk up and down the hill but they have guess motor cars to drop off and pick up from the room. However, we waited quite long for them to pick us up when we checked out. Food was just ok. Not many options to choose. The view at the restaurant was amazing.

It has a view that is breathtaking, the resort as well is very beautiful. The reception staff is very polite, but apart of this they need to change a lot of things to be the best. The cleanliness of the room and the pool is very poor, maybe is better to hire more people cause there was only one housekeeper going up and down through all the resort. The breakfast service as well needs to be changed, no European choices at all. Most of the things were noodles and in a morning we also found bolognese pasta that was there. If maybe they focus more on those things can succeed.

To summarise - Horrible staff. Have never encountered such rude staff in my entire life. We went to checkin early at 10:30 AM (had a city tour scheduled so had to keep our luggage) but got an outright no. They allowed us to keep the luggage in the office space. So that was ok. The property is really beautiful, so my wife requested the staff to click our pics. The way they responded was like we did a crime asking. Her response was no, I am busy and so is the rest of my staff. We just chose forget it and not spoil our mood because of it and went away to our city tour. In the evening, we returned to expect some better behaviour from the front desk staff but what we encountered was one of the worst behaviour I had seen ever. The front desk staff name was 'Kik' and her conduct towards us was absolutely atrocious. She was sarcastic right from the beginning. We asked for our luggage but refused to help. I am not sure how she was employed, but she was just the opposite of the term 'Hospitality'. She ignored whenever we asked her something. In short, the staff behaviour spoiled our entire day. It made us keep wondering as to why did we deserve such atrocity! On the other hand, the property is just beautiful. The view of the sea was magnificent. The in house restaurant staff were very well mannered. She played us lovely romantic music and food delivered was delicious. But all this was overshadowed by the behaviour of the front desk that has forced me to give a 1 star rating.

When I got to Phuket airport the parson yhenis supposed to be picking me up left because you people didn’t update the schedule change with then so he left because my plane was change for one hour later and the airline notified you people about the change but you never passed over to the company the was picking me up so I had to paid for a very expensive taxi to the hotel out of pocket when I already paid for everything in advance and I couldn’t call anybody because I didn’t have service there so please let me know at the earliest convenience how can you people make this right maybe for my upcoming trips or something like that thank you.

Poor customer service but good views
Check in was a disaster, staff didn't speak English, tried charging me for breakfast when i already paid via Hotels.com then debated with me about it. In the end called Hotels.com and i received a refund. Very steep path to villa so much so that the hotel uses golf carts to ferry customers to and fro, if you are an elderly or disabled customer, avoid. There is also limited amenities in the vicinity meaning ensure you have transport or you will pay approx 500 baht per day in taxi costs. Apart from that the view was amazing, the management really need to sort out, etiquette, respect and making the customer feel welcome. Generally a feeling of bad attitude from staff in my experience, very different from a typical hotel hospitality that you would experience in the UK. This establishment is best avoided.

Beautiful resort with ocean view, very peaceful, excellent service, all staffs so kind and friendly. We have very good time here. Only thing I do not like is very far from the market and the beach. Every time we want to go somewhere we have to pay the taxi or get the rental car.

Location is good. Stayed in family room. Room needs renovation absolutely. Rain water kept coming inside the room. Toilet is smelly and water flow is very slow. Shower water flow is slow as well. Breakfast was good. Staff service is pathetic.

The room was dirty when we got there, there was no hot water, the wifi still did not work, and the air conditioner had problems too. We were moved to a room next door and of course there was no hot water and internet. They did not treat us as I expected and the service to our problems was inadequate and unprofessional. We spent the first evening (4 hours) together with different engineers in the room instead of showering after a flight. As of the moment, I still do not have Internet and it does not interest anybody there either. Then when we awoke in the morning we discovered that the hotel had decided to make renovations so that we were actually in a construction site. Above all, the hotel did not look as it was presented on the Internet. The hotel is very far from anywhere and you have to book a golcar to take you to reception. not recommended

Great property with some caveats
The property itself is breathtaking- the view is amazing, the amenities pleasant and clean, the staff friendly. we stayed in a Jr suite with ocean view, which was very modern, comfortable and had a balcony with a Jacuzzi. Nice touch. That said, the location itself is challenging. There is nothing within walking distance and the cheapest ride to the nearest beach is 250baht (approx 8usd). It's not a lot but it adds up. The other matter is that the rooms are a bit walking distance- not a big deal until you realize the path it's STEEP. We ended up requesting a ride from the room to the lobby a number of times. This property is not well suited for older or infirm guests. In sum: good hotel as long as you know what to expect.

So the property is gorgeous. It’s a lil secluded and good for couples. Communication here, though was a nightmare and the reception was not helpful at all. In fact a woman who worked the evening shift was extremely rude. So I had a broken leg and knowing that they put us up in a room that was right up and down a long flight of stairs. Almost 80 stairs. We ordered food by the pool which was not consumed and we asked the server to send it to our room. It didn’t reach the room and I was billed for it. When I refused to pay the lady at the reception told me we have already billed so u figure it out with the restaurant. That made me very mad. We were shifted from one room to the other because they got mixed up with the rooms and we had to move back and forth. We also didn’t get the room we had booked as per hotels.com. We were supposed to have a balcony but we got a room with just a common patio. But we so tired arguing with them so we just dealt with it and left. There’s nothing else around the property so going anywhere will cost you 300 baht minimum one way.
