SALA Phuket Mai Khao Beach Resort absolutely deserves five stars. From the moment I arrived, the customer service was exceptional. Every staff member was warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making the stay unforgettable. The atmosphere throughout the property is peaceful and relaxing. It feels like a private sanctuary where you can slow down, breathe, and enjoy every moment. The amenities make it even better. The onsite restaurant offers a wide range of dishes with options for every diet, and everything I tried was delicious. The Muay Thai boxing lessons were a fun and energizing surprise. The pool area is stunning, the massages are top tier, and having direct access to the beach is the perfect way to start or end each day. If you want a resort that blends comfort, luxury, and authentic Thai hospitality, this is the place. I would come back without hesitation.

Second stay the last one was in 2017. Hotel looks and feels as it did then! The rooms with pools are luxurious and shut out everything except the blue sky then the stars. A great four day relaxing break from the hustle of work!

Really enjoyed our stay here. Quite breathtaking when you walk in and you get a sense of how surreal and peaceful the resort is. Feels like an oasis away from home. Despite the resort being fully booked out, we never felt as though it was crowded. Case in point, we took a stroll to JW Marriott (property next door) and although there was admittedly much more activities and restaurants available for choosing, we were very grateful to be back at Sala at the end of the day. Service level was top notch the entire stay, every interaction felt so natural and friendly. In fact - on our first day, we already decided that we are definitely coming back. Thank you for such a fantastic stay, it was a wonderful break away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

SALA Phuket was an amazing stay. The pool villas are well designed and stylish, as well as very private. Waking up every morning and going out the door to swim in a private pool is the best feeling in the world. Night swimming under a chandelier is something out of this world. The small restaurant was good, and the included breakfast was high quality with many options but not an excess. The location is quite convenient to the airport and is very quiet. The beach is beautiful though it was sometimes dirty as it is nearly everywhere on Phuket. Depending on the tides and storm activity it can be covered in plastic trash. However the hotel cleans this, restoring (briefly) the conditions. Taxis into the commercial center of Phuket via Grab app cost about 800 THB and take 30-50 minutes depending on traffic. There’s a nearby shopping area with free shuttle for souvenirs and sundries. All of the staff at SALA were friendly, competent and professional. A super small hotel. Highly recommended.

We booked a SALA Pool Villa for the privacy, and it was great. Requested set times for cleaning and turn-down services every day and they were always finished by the time we returned from breakfast and dinner. Our villa space was always clean. Great breakfast with a la carte options, egg station, juice bar and a wide continental selection; catered well to food allergy issues.
