Honestly the best place I’ve stayed at. Breakfast was sooo nice. Staff were elite, room was v nice, I went during the less busy time and had the pool to myself sometimes. Cannot recommend enough

We had a wonderful stay at Ko Yao Yai Village off season. The staff are friendly and helpful and the resort is an idyllic oasis of calm and tranquility in a stunning setting. It would have been even better if the lovely coffee shop had opened before 11am!

We were married here in 2012. The tree planted at the time didn’t make it so the management arranged to have another tree planted to commemorate the wedding for us and our kids! Lots of improvements to common areas since 2012, hopefully some improvements to the villas will be up next. Staff are so kind and helpful and also helped us with a customized tour itinerary our kids wanted. We can’t wait to come back!

The property and resort was really quite nice! The pool was divine and the real highlight. Food and dining was excellent, however a snack bar or another small cafe on-sight would have been nice. Can’t say enough about the staff. They were kind, friendly, accomodating and attentive.

Really nice little place in a forested area. Very friendly staff, very good breakfast, food in general is good. They have shuttle once a day which takes you to a stunning beach! They have different activities and the pools are large and well kept. Rooms are cozy with a high quality picture TV and and AC. I really would reccomend this place... Pricing on the food can be a little bit too much though, (depending on what you order).

Excellent stay on Koh Yao Yai

The resort was a wonderful place to stay. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was green with different items each day. The pool was large and clean. Our room had a huge bed with great Wi-Fi, air conditioning and cable tv. The pickup from the pier to the resort worked fine. I liked the shuttle carts that took us from the room to the restaurant. I highly recommend a stay here.

No place we would rather be

We will come back. The villas are large and clean. Please remember you are basically in a hut in the jungle so if that’s not your thing then don’t come here. We saw all sorts of cool wildlife. The outdoor showers are so cool, we never took indoor showers. The food is great. The beach here is clean and swimmable. There are lots of families here so definitely family friendly. Not wheelchair or disability friendly landscape though, lots of hills and steps. The breakfast is the best I’ve ever had at a resort. Prices inside resort are reasonable. There are local options right outside the resort too. We drive around the whole Island on a motorbike and didn’t see any place we would rather be. This is the best one.

An excellent Eco Resort for relaxation

An absolutely fantastic experience to stay at an upgraded room along the beach with our own patio and two outdoor showers. If you're looking for an Eco retreat where the staff is attentive and friendly and you can get a bit of luxury I highly recommend this location as long as you get a villa closer to the beach. We loved the infinity pool located right next to an outdoor bar as well as the dining area that offered a rate of cultural activities. The value for what we were able to experience while on site and off-site was worth it. I liked the isolated feeling we had on the property and the locality of the property near the principal road that offered small massage parlors as well as eateries where you could experience local prices and local hospitality. A short walk up the road also allowed you to rent Vespas for $30 a day when we were feeling adventurous and wanted to explore the island.

We had an amazing two night stay for our honeymoon. This was our favorite accommodation on our two-week trip in Thailand. Lovely rooms with a beautiful outdoor shower. Private veranda with lounge chairs and couch. The pool area was extravagant, with a very large infinity pool that overlooks the beautiful sea and islands (great sunset!). Plenty of seating. Happy hour drinks (and prices) were great, and we indulged in plenty of fresh mojitos. We booked James Bond island group tour through the hotel and it was just us (but even with four other people it would have been great). Our guide spoke good English and was very friendly. The breakfast buffet was incredible as well as all the other meals we had. We loved this place and cannot wait to return some day!

OMG there was nothing I didn't like! Let's just shout to housekeeping staff to robes, slippers, and linens. And our cabana/small villa was the best and so affordable in the shoulder season. The 2 for 1 happy hour drinks were appreciated and enjoyed. All of the wait staff were terrific. Breakfast was over the top and I love a bit of fruit and a savory breakfast. They arranged our island tour and our transfer to Phuket airport which was appreciated. The wifi was better than at home. After our visit to the James Bond Island we watched The Man with the Golden Gun. Enjoyed my Mani Pedi at the spa but you need to go NLT 3 PM. We were just minutes away from motorcycle rental which we enjoyed. Could not have been more delightful. Shout out to Ali and our long tail boat driver were amazing. Thank you to all at Koh Yao Yai Village! It was amazing!

Perfect hotell for visiting Koh Yao Yai

Marvelous place. The pool, the breakfast, the service. I can really recommend this place. There was complimentory kayaks and padelboards that could be used in the sea which was to much enjoyment. There were also a vollyball net and other games that could be borrowed from the activity senter. They had sunchairs and hammocks around the beach. With happy hour the drinks were fairly reasonable. Lunch by the pool was great and fair priced for a hotel. There were resturants whitin walking distans that were very nice. Recommend waking up to look at the sunrise. The view from the beach and pool was amazing! The pick up service provoided by the hotel was perfect. Reccomend using that. Price was fair commpared to getting taxis on both sides and boat travel. Hotel arranged everything. We were put on a speed boat with just another couple from Phuket, so very qiuck to get going. If you are a couple or a family dont hesitate to choose this hotel.
