Mountain & Desert getaway

Fabulous Stay

As always the host, the rental, the area are Fabulous. We stay here whenever we are in the area. We bike, birdwatch and hike. Rain or shine it’s wonderful. We love staying here!!! I cannot say enough about the host. She is wonderful! Thank you!

Beautiful & serene

Such a lovely place, with amazing views. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchenette was perfect for our needs. It felt so spacious, roomy and welcoming. Host was great and flexible with our arrival plans.

Awesome casita

Truly a gem of a place situated in rural north Scottsdale. Quiet as can be at night, and off the beaten path. The casita itself is tastefully decorated, clean, and comfortable. Terri, your host, is very responsive and helpful. From checking in to walking out the door, I wouldn't change a thing. Thanks, Terri!

Pre-Christmas in a lovely Casita!

We had a delightful and very comfortable stay with the added benefit of the property being in a very quiet area and close to our relatives. All amenities were in excellent condition and we felt very pampered. We recommend to anyone.

Sweet Casita

This is a lovely neighborhood, very close to mountain bike trails and hiking. Terri was very welcoming and responsive to our needs. We stayed for a week, so having a washer/dryer was a plus. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful with all the amenities. It is a distance from restaurants, grocery stores, etc. It also has a lot of outdoor lights but the owner was very sweet to remove the light outside our bedroom window.

Fabulous

Privacy in a beautiful area. Has everything you would need. Very comfortable Close to bike trails so you don’t have to drive to get there. Wonderful host. We love this place. Our go to place in Scottsdale.

A bit rural

Great host, nice accomodations. However, for us, it was a bit to rural. You need to travel at least 30 minutes to get to shops and restaurants. A few new stores are just opening up, but they are still 20 minutes out. Also, the mattress was to soft for us.

Work and play trip

We needed to visit Phoenix for a combination of work and vacation. This was a good location for both with its close proximity to the golf resorts. The residence was exactly as described on the site. No surprises and that was a good thing.

Clean and comfortable

The casita was very clean and comfortable, with all amenities listed available. The courtyard was adorable - allowed for private outdoor seating. Terri was excellent in communicating and friendly. She made sure everything was as expected. Check in and check out was easy and convenient.

Lovely desert oasis

Beautiful and wonderful place to stay. It was decorated with care and really made me feel like I was staying in somebody's home. The bed was extremely comfortable and I loved the soft, fluffy towels. Very quiet and peaceful at night. I really appreciated the washer and dryer to do some laundry mid-way through my trip. Quick bike ride or drive to McDowell Sonoran Preserve for outdoor enthusiasts, as well as a lovely sitting area outside to enjoy morning coffee. 100% recommend!

wonderful casita

We had a great time staying in this property. Terri was great, had ice, half & half, Keurig selections, and laundry supplies waiting for us. Casita was very clean, towels super soft and very quiet. I always bring my "VRBO" bag with me which has basic supplies and seasonings. I didn't need it for this place as everything was supplied and in ample quantities. There is no cooktop, but grill was available. We were too busy to cook anyway.

Spring Get Away

We spent a week in March mountain biking from Terri’s place and plan to do it again. We could ride our bikes from the patio to the trail head of both Brown’s Ranch and McDowell Mountain parks, no need to load bikes or drive. For stores and restaurants, there is a 20 minute drive but the clean, comfy guest house, and recreation convenience is well worth it! Thanks Terri, we’ll be back!

Great little getaway
