It newly renovated, beautiful quaint farmhouse feel has thinking you are vacationing somewhere else. Close to Troon, shopping, gorgeous golf, hiking trails, and the freeways. This property is a one of a kind, must see! Close to golfing, town of Carefree and Desert Ridge, all that North Scottsdale has to offer. Super close to the Mayo Clinic yet your own comfortable home. This property has quail running at all times of the day and night as well as many other wonderful desert animals.

Amazing Getaway

We loved this location, it was so private and quiet. We also got to see some local wildlife like coyotes, pigs and birds. Also the house was decorated so cute and western. We would definitely stay here again.

This property was so relaxing and peaceful, no city noise or street traffic, just birds! Darcy was an excellent hostess as well. I am looking forward to future visits when traveling to Scottsdale.

Great Desert Location

Clean comfortable quiet dessert location. Have stayed here two years in a row and have enjoyed our stay. Darcy is very responsive to any issues. Would recommend to anyone that enjoys a very natural setting.

Wonderful Getaway

This house embodies a desert farmhouse getaway, yet sits reasonably accessible to the Metro area. Everything was clean and in optimal working condition. We are repeat customers and intend to continue in the years to come!

Amazing place to stay!

What a wonderful experience! This home is just that, a home! So very comfortable and welcoming. The covered deck made us want to just hang out all day! We would love to stay here again soon! If this property is available.... book it! You'll be glad you did.

First trip to Phoenix

Very homely and comfortable. Beautifully presented with a delightful traditional farmhouse vibe. Quiet and rural but easily accessible by car. Premium beds and bedding. Spotlessly clean. Great attention to detail. Everything we needed for a lovely four night stay. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Great break away from everything

This was a really great stay in a unique property. It is out by itself down a dirt road with NO traffic and very peaceful, but has everything you need very close. The house has everything and is very comfortable. Perfect get away for some rest and good desert views.

Peace and quiet in the desert

A lovely experience in the midst of the desert, yet easily accessible to Scottsdale and Cave Creek. Our family enjoyed the quiet and the experience of watching the wildlife from the deck.

Desert Oasis

We enjoyed our Farmhouse stay for a month. Loved the birds and views from outside. The house was well equipped and the beds comfortable. Darcy and Feather were good hosts.

Very comfortable and quiet.

Four adults (myself, spouse and husband's brother and his wife) enjoyed three nights. It was wonderfully comfortable and quiet. Very cozy. We'd stay again if we're in the area. Both Darcy and Melinda (local property manager) were very responsive and helpful with a couple of questions we had (very minor items).

Great spring getaway

We were very pleased with our experience at Darcy's home. The house was clean, comfortable, and in a good location for our particular needs. The beds were very comfortable and the house was well stocked with needed items (toilet paper, shampoo, dish soap, etc.). The air conditioning worked well. We all commented that the home was much nicer than expected from the photos on the website. We particularly enjoyed the spacious covered deck overlooking desert plants and Pinnacle Peak (which is a couple of miles away). Communication with Darcy was timely, and check-in and check-out were easy. We would happily book Darcy's home again on future trips.

Peace and quiet but close to stuff!

We had four adults, a teenager, and a tweener stay in complete comfort! The WiFi was good for the teens, there was cable tv in each room, and the kitchen/dining area was comfortable for us adults to make meals and chat! The property is secluded and the interior is full of country elegance and charm. Neighbors waved as we navigated quiet roads but we were only 10 minutes from grocery shopping and 15 min from West World. I particularly enjoyed sitting on the covered deck and watching the quail scurry by and listening to the doves coo. Communication with the property management was prompt which was greatly appreciated. If we come back to Scottsdale, this will be the place we stay!

All around OUTSTANDING!

This has to be the most peaceful place in Scottsdale. House was perfect for us. Kitchen was well stocked; couches and chairs in the living room were incredibly comfy. I had coffee on the back deck every morning with birds, bunnies and abundant quail. Darcy is an excellent host who responded to any questions I had within minutes. One of the best VRBO experiences we’ve ever had. Looking forward to returning to this wonderful home in the future.

More than we expected!!!

Exceeded our expectations in every way possible. The location was its own oasis. The little farm house is decorated perfectly. And EVERYTHING you need is provided. The communication with the property manager was the best I have experienced at any rental. Darcy provided a perfect location for our family getaway. And all of the animals in the yard wer pleasant surprises…. Hawks, bunnies, hummingbirds, roosters, javalenas…. It was so fun to explore!!!

Cozy Farmhouse in the desert

This cozy farmhouse was very clean with comfortable beds, plenty of towels and easy dish service on the tv. The only thing that was needed was the mirror in the master bedroom was broken and has not been repaired in the three years since we had been there before. Also the windows and blinds need to be washed and replaced. Also the property needs to be cleaned up.

Quiet and cozy

The property was perfect for our needs. It was quiet, cozy comfy and clean. We had our 2 little pooches with us so we had to be diligent when taking them outside as the property is not fenced in and coyotes are active and plentiful but that’s normal. The heater didn’t work at first but Darcy and Feather got it repaired immediately and we had no other problems. House was equipped with everything we could’ve needed. Stores and restaurants and gas and every other convenience was located within minutes of the house. will definitely stay again. Definite thumbs up.
