"Excelente we loveit"

"We stayed at this hotel for one night and, unfortunately, the experience did not match the price we paid. The biggest disappointment was the customer service at reception. The receptionist was very cold and not welcoming at all. The interaction felt dry, and we did not feel helped or valued as guests. A more friendly and inviting attitude would have made a big difference. The facilities also felt outdated and in need of improvement. One positive point is that the parking location was convenient and easy to access. Another issue was that during the middle of the night we found stink bugs in the room, which can be seen in the photos. We understand this may not happen in every room, and perhaps we were just unlucky, but it still affected our stay and overall comfort. Since we only stayed one night, we cannot say if this is a recurring problem throughout the hotel. However, considering the price we paid, the overall experience and service were definitely not worth it."

"The Carnegie House is an amazing place to stay! Very clean! The staff were very friendly and professional! Felt like royalty during our stay…from the decor of the room, the bathrobes, and the comfort of the bed and pillows! Will definitely stay again while in State College!"

"This was a good stay and would stay again. However, I did not realize that this was a motel type. The rooms were small for more than 2 -3 quest. The best part was their breakfast. I just feel they should offer a non pork option. The staff was friendly and nice. There is a bar and grill on sight. Therefore overall this was a good place to stay."

"The hotel is okay however looks overrated on Expedia. The location is perfect and very close to PSU campus. The rooms are big but outdated."

"The front desk guy was nice and held the room bc we got in late, but the room itself kinda sucked. Mold on the shower ceiling, water took forever to warm up, killed 5 bugs in bathroom/bedroom, road noise from trucks was loud, and they doubled the regular price bc it was grad weekend at Penn State. I'm not a hotel snob by any means, but it was hard to sleep due to the above."
