As soon as I made the reservation, I received a message from the hotel about checking in after hours. "This was a very nice hotel with a wonderful breakfast. Unfortunately, the description on Expedia was inaccurate and caused us some inconvenience. The Expedia description was that the hotel had a 24/7 reception, however, when we arrived at the hotel at 10:30 pm due to late train connections, no one was at the hotel. Luckily, the manager arrived and we were able to get into our room, but he also informed us that reception was only open until 10 pm. We had both emailed each other using the Expedia...

"If you are visiting Sigmaringen this is where you have to stay. Beautifully renovated hotel with the best views of the castle. Staff is welcoming and helpful, nice breakfast, spacious, pretty and modern rooms with A/C. Front desk offered a candy bar to guests and mini ice creams at check-in. But the terrasse with views of the castle steal the show. Must stay! "
