"I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quiet stay. The room was in poor condition, with uncomfortable, worn-out beds and old bedding. Since it faced the street, the noise made it impossible to relax, and we couldn’t even open the windows. Basic amenities were missing, including a shower cap, lotion, coffee setup, and even a room phone. We were also surprised to be charged 4 CHF for tap water at the restaurant.this hotel is good only for people with small children. Overall, a very disappointing experience."

"The hotel was spotless. Staff was very helpful. Excellent restaurant and bar. If you are a car enthusiast you definitely need to stay here the owner has an incredible collection of vintage sports cars and some modern cars the hotel is basically a car museum, also in the basement of the hotel there is a small version of Ripley's aquarium stunning examples of native freshwater fish and huge tanks quite an interesting walk through. Our room also had a beautiful outdoor terrace and view of the town."

"Great location. So close to the train station. We had some day trips planned so it was perfect we were able to get off the train and drop our luggage off. The staff was very helpful and let usdrop the bags off early. My room was updated clean and modern. I did not have an outlet in the bathroom so it was a bit of a challenge to blow dry and flat iron my hair :-) also a bit tricky the blinds Have a power switch but you can't see what they are doing from where the switch is located. We figured it out though. Very good value and walking distance to lots of shops. Only major drawback was the noise! Even with Windows closed there was a lot of screaming yelling and dogs barking. Probably bars around? Not sure but we were so tired we still fell asleep"

"Great for an overnight stop mid journey. Easy access, available places for dining. Bonus is the access to beautiful countryside for relaxing walks"

"We had a beautiful room on 12th floor with fantastic view of the rolling hills. The breakfast room had free coffee, hot water and some breakfast. "

"Spotless room, very kind staff, great location. The only problem was that when we came back one night to the hotel on Saturday at 21:00, we requested to charge our electric car and the staff had no clue what the procedure was and how to activate the charging station and he told us he did not have information which was unacceptable. "
