"Die Unterkunft ist idyllisch in einem Hinterhof gelegen. Das Platzangebot ist mehr als ausreichend für eine große Reisegruppe. Jeder findet einen Rückzugsort, wenn gewünscht. "Sehr schöne Wohnung (eigentlich zwei), die mit zwei Bädern, großem Wohnzimmer, großer und kleiner Küche perfekt für uns sechs (3 Erw. + 3 Teenager) war. Unsere Gastgeber, die im selben Haus wohnen, haben uns mit selbstgemachter Wurst, tollen Tipps und zur Krönung einem gemeinsamen Abendessen mehr als verwöhnt. Fahrradfahren im Tal bis Bamberg ist toll. Die Hügel drum herum haben alles von uns abgefordert."

"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We knew it was an Ibis Budget when we booked so were expecting limited facilities as we have stayed with this chain before, but we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the stay. The room was compact, had facilities to hang clothing but no where to put other clothing this had to remain in the suitcase for the duration of the stay. Bathroom was great, lovely shower with plenty of hot water. No drink making facilities in the room but again we were aware of this limitation with the Budget chain so took plenty of water and soft drinks. It was a short walk from the railway station and there was a local bus that ran frequently to take us to the Festival Hall where we watched Wagners Ring Cycle, for the more energetic it is within walking distance and we chose to walk back each night which was easy. This is the closest hotel to the Festspielhalle if you are attending the Festival, however, this does mean that you are a little bit further from the centre of the town, but again walking is not a great distance and buses are available. The only quibble, and it is a minor one is that the room cleaning was not very great. The bathroom was cleaned daily, bed made, but the floor was not swept/vacuumed once in our 8 day stay. Breakfast was excellent and the kitchen staff worked really hard, big thank you to all the staff, reception and the bar were 24/7 so when we arrived after midnight we were able to check in and get a drink. Would recommend."
