"What an incredible place! It is right at the most beautiful spot in this very cute French village, at the bridge over the river in the old town. The reception closed at 7pm and we were delayed on the way, so we called. We don't speak French and reception didn't speak English, but somehow we managed to get that we were arriving at 8pm. "This was a one night stay for a short visit to the region for family reasons. There was nobody around on arrival. The restaurant was closed.There was a handwritten message stuck to the inside of the window explaining how to get to our room. The key was in the door. I needed to use the Wi-Fi during my stay but wasn’t informed what the password was and there was nobody around to ask. On leaving the restaurant was open and there was somebody there to take the key. Service was very poor, but I guess you get what you pay for."

"Dear gods! I thought I'd have a tiny, but cute room. Place was bigger than my house! Full kitchen. Raindrop shower. And the ceilings...just exposed beams and gorgeous. Proper ceiling fan, not an occilator on a table (which works fine, but still). It was a very short walk from the Aubusson station and the tapestry museum. Oh, and the brunch they now offer (i was informed that it is new), they have everything from quiche to breads, croissants, coddled eggs, tarts that are out of this world. Also, we got a bit of a show. They bring in goats to manicure the lawns, such as they are. The goats paraded by our table and were adorable. I mean, i know goats csn get unrully, but these little suckers were focused on getting to their meal. I love them! Basically, just stay here."
